We really enjoyed the service and the friendliness of the staff. The ports were great and hiring individual drivers was truly the way to go with the size of our family of eight. That gave us opportunity to modify places and excursions as we needed. But we always seem to run out of time. There was so much to see and do.

Overall this was a great cruise. I enjoyed it tremendously. I went with my family and I had my own cabin which was nice. I enjoyed watching the ocean from my balcony. There is much to do on the ship though I stayed away from the crowded areas. The pool on sea days was very crowded. I think the spa offerings are too expensive so I did not partake of any of their services. Celebrity is top notch in my opinion. The food is excellent and so is the wait staff. The service overall was excellent and accommodating.

A wonderful experience! We enjoyed all spectators of the cruise and the ports of call. I would recommend this cruise. One of our best trips!

I was completely disappointed by the quality of the food, drinks, service, entertainment and excursion choices. Celebrity has gone downhill. It was the worst cruise ever!!!

We had an excellent time. The things we were disappointed in were the fact that the wifi package was so expensive, a drink package had to be purchased even just for soft drinks or non alcoholic beverages (or we had to pay for each drink separately), the fitness classes were not free, and the specialty restuarants were not free. In previous cruises, all drinks were included and specialty restaurants had to be reserved but they were free. Fitness classes were also free for us in other cruise lines. Overall, the entertainment, service, and activities were a lot of fun and we had a wonderful time.

This was our first cruise on Celebrity and we were very disappointed in the food and entertainment on the Equinox. Will not sail on Celebrity again. Princess was so much better in every respect.

Visited great ports. Excursions which were booked with Celebrity were very informative. Entertainment was excellent. Good food. Had a great time.

Overall, it was a great cruise experience. would love to have had self-serve laundry on board the ship as they do on Princess and Oceania. Cost of having laundry done is ridiculous.

It was a pleasant trip but had some expectations that just weren't met.

We really like unpacking once and experiencing multiple ports and cultures. We like having confidence in the food on-board no matter what port we visit. When we were younger we did all the ports on our own but use excursions now. They are hit or miss depending on the quality of the guides. We had very good guides in most ports and a really bad guide in Tangier. We were refunded 50% of tour cost. Great ship, great crew, great food.

The Equinox is a nice ship, though the decor in the staterooms is a bit dated. The common areas such as the Sky Lounge and the Retreat Lounge have been updated to a more modern decor. This sailing from Lisbon to Barcelona offered a great itinerary with interesting ports. There were a lot of excursion options to choose from, and in fact, I wished we had longer times or overnights in some ports so we could have visited more than one inland city.The food in the Luminae was excellent, and the entertainment was very good. .

Overall the ship provided a great experience. The ship is spacious and offers much variety in decor and relaxation spaces. The first two Portugal stops were not close to town and required a lot of walking and in the case of Porto, a long bus ride.

We have been on many ships. We stay in the equivalent cabin like the Haven on NCL. They have always exceeded our expectations. Not so on in the Retreat on Equinox. We were disappointed with Luminae. Very small menu, we ordered most of our meal of the Main Dining Room menu. Luminae was closed for lunch on port days but we were on the ship for lunch.

Not happy with ship at all. Very old and needs updating. Paid for ocean view and it was blocked by life boats. Food was just ok. Ports were the reason this ship was booked. First time in Celebrity. Prefer Royal Caribbean. Not sure I will do another Celebrity.

We will definitely do this cruise again. Had so much fun.

Was somewhat disappointed with food and entertainment on the ship. Also no explanation as to why we did not port at Bonaire. It was listed on the original itinerary.

Overall, this cruise was one of the best one that we have taken. It had 2800 guests and 1200 crew members. Only 47 children were onboard. They had 8 elevators, which never broke down. Now, that's important! The pools, hot tubs, shows, food, great service, wonderful crew and captain were superb! We will definitely book another cruise on a Celebrity ship! We now have some wonderful memories and pictures!

Overall we had a very good time and would choose Celebrity again for sure. Food, service, theater entertainment, cabin comfort, and sailing experience was excellent. Areas to improve would be wasted space with a real grass area that was completly under utilized ie more seating, deck/court activities, much greater purpose than 'real grass'!!!!!

GOOD TRIP UNTIL ONE PASSENGER BECAME ILL & THEN CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAME HORRIBLE IN PREPARING DISEMBARKING & TRAVEL BACK TO ORIGINAL PORT.
