It was a pleasant trip but had some expectations that just weren't met.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
We paid for Concierge class which was described as having a separate line for embarking - that did not exist. The process took about an hour.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Overall decent. But the constant promotion to upsell to the "better" dining options was not enjoyable and cheapened the overall dining experience, which was not inexpensive to begin with.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The crew did a great job of having fun activities all day everyday and got people involved and having fun.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The shows were good but there was a one singer that was always playing a lead and his voice was clearly the weakest of the bunch. It was cringy.
The DJ's did a great job.
The aerialists were amazing.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Overall it was nice, but dated.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Total waste of money to upgrade to this class. Dated room, a bit of wear on curtains and rug and our sheets were never changed in the time were aboard- I knew this because I could see stains. Expected much more from concierge class. We did not get any extra help with anything. Any we were left a canape everyday at 2pm- which sat out- not refrigerated - so it was spoiled everyday by the time we got back to the room from an excursion or activity. Either refrigerate them or use foods that don't spoil.
Ship tip
Know exactly what you are paying for and book private excusions.
We booked a tour with the cruise- total scam. We walked around until we got to a "bazaar" (indoor shop) that was full of men trying to sell stuff that no one wanted. All day trip and all we got were 2 cookies and mint tea. No time to go to a real shopping area or try real food. And learned little from our guide- he just walked us through streets.
Again, tour guide did nothing and left meeting point without everyone. We had no time to sightsee. We had time to use a bathroom and have a lunch. Waste of money.
