Review summary

Overall this was a great cruise. I enjoyed it tremendously. I went with my family and I had my own cabin which was nice. I enjoyed watching the ocean from my balcony. There is much to do on the ship though I stayed away from the crowded areas. The pool on sea days was very crowded. I think the spa offerings are too expensive so I did not partake of any of their services. Celebrity is top notch in my opinion. The food is excellent and so is the wait staff. The service overall was excellent and accommodating.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was slow and a bit disorganized at the terminal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The ship's main dining rooms were great and the buffet was excellent. I did not do the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center and pool.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows were very good except for the ship's cast one with the 2 sisters and the mad hatter one. I did not see the last show. The magician, piano player, female singer, and male singer were very good. The Broadway Review was ok.

Children's Programs

no children with me.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All were excellent and did a great job. All were very attentive and took care of requests.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is on the older side but it is till nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin is very comfortable. The storage is limited, but my suitcase did fit under the bed which was nice. Some outlets near the bed would be appreciated. Also, the porch clear barrier should be cleaned when in port.

Ship tip

Having a set dinner time was nice and you get the same wait staff every night.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
I explored on my own and did not do an excursion. I was with my family so they found interesting things to do. We arrived in Barcelona 3 days before we embarked the ship.

Seville, Spain

5 out of 5
It is not really Seville. You have to go there with an excursion. I did do an excursion that included a visit to a sherry cellar. It was an excellent excursion.

Lisbon, Portugal

5 out of 5
No excursion with the ship. Booked a food tour with cruises.com and one with Viator. It was a good way to get around the city and explore local foods. A great city that is fun to explore.

Porto, Portugal

4 out of 5
I did not go into Porto and went on an excursion outside of Porto to an ancient castle. It was a good excursion.

Tangier, Morocco

2 out of 5
Terrible city. Dirty and seedy. I took an excursion which took us to a light house and for tea & pastries at a very nice hotel. I did not like walking past an area were men were skinning animals and chopping them up. Do not try to do this port on your own.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and quick.
