I will never do another Celebrity or Royal cruise. It was expensive and the tours were very pricey for what you get. I will probably do a land tour and use Viator for my excursions.
Embarkation

The process was absolutely perfect
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The menu tended to repeat itself. The vegetables portions were so small and had to ask for more. The specialty restaurants were of course amazing but cost $55 per person for the upgrade. Very unimpressed. Our room floor was entitled to Blu as a dining room and the menu was not something we were interested in. Trout, octopus, duck were a bit much for our palate.
Onboard Activities

Other than an origami classes and glass class, it was quite boring.
Entertainment

The comedy was not funny,, the singing shows were not impressive either. The magic show was good. I have been on many cruises over 20 years and this was the worst entertainment.
Service and Staff

Chocolates on the pillow 2 of 9 days. Room was kept nice.
We took a bus to the shopping area. Bus was provided by cruise. The driver dropped us to an unknown location and there was nothing there. We waited 2 hours in the sun for a driver to come back. We ended out on an Uber back paid by us.
We were supposed to swim in the Italian Riveria And it was not as expected. We went on a boat with a total of 6 others. There were no seats just a cushion to sit on. We went out into the sea for at least 45 min and then was told to go off a ladder on the boat into the water. I pictured a beach and a beach chair. Not swimming with current around us and jelly fish. Only the three men went in. The woman watched. VERY LAME
Went to a leather shop on the excursion. I am sure the ship gets a kick back from these retail stops. On to an electric cart ride. The tour was 8.5 hours and titled Electric Cart and the cart was only 45 minutes out of that time slot. We drove for 3 hours total and the scenery was not impressive.
The next day we went on a pasta tour and was suppose to see a pasta factory but it was closed on the day of the tour. The rest of the tour was visiting a farm for lunch. It was fairly good food and the nicest part of the nearly 9 hours.
The cruise has you believe you should buy transfers to Rome because Ubers and taxis are hard to get. Instead they put you on a bus and drop you to a bus station where you have to get an Uber to the hotel anyway, Cost SO much more that way.
I have never said that before, but here it is - fake review. This person was looking for reasons to be unhappy. Italian scenery is not impressive, one star for Barcelona, boring cruise, and so forth.
