Enjoyed the ship especially the spa and workout facility. The Taste Bar was fun and a nice appetizer if we wanted to watch one of the comedy shows before dinner.

This is the second time I have been on the Splendor, but the food quality was not the same. With everything that happened, or didn't happen, on this cruise, it will be my last. If I ever cruise again it will not be with Carnival.

There were too many photographers trying to take your picture every where you turned. I didn't like that.

The Tandoor Grill was our favorite buffet. Yummy Indian food. The pizza is ok, but don't set your expectations too high. The gym is located in the spa area, but is free. The Red Carpet is a quiet lounge on deck 4; you may have to search for it. Try the not-so-obvious stairway by the Coffee Shop.

Check out the Rotisserie area on the upper level of the Lido buffet. It is a hidden treasure...and offers an additional food venue with PLENTY of seating.

No where on Carnival web site does it mention you need a picture id to return to the ship from port. I would have preferred to carry something else besides my passport on the islands.

Lots of pool deck chairs and tables in pool area! No need to try to reserve, there always seemed to be plenty.

Always head to deck 5 which will allow you to go from one end of the ship to the other inside and very quickly. Otherwise all the fun is on Deck 9.

We had a blast in the piano bar! We also took advantage of all the photo ops and got some great memories.

Don't take the carnival splendor..pick a newer nicer ship for more money much more worth it..we met so many people that said the same thing about this cruise ship.. not up to my standards at all...
