This cruise was a sheer disaster. The forecast can easily be read 10 days in advance. They had already re-routed this cruise to a cruise that I did NOT pay for nor even want to go on. But the fact that they didn't just cancel or re-schedule this cruise is beyond me. We went 3 days at sea without being able to get off of the boat. If felt more like we were being held hostage than on a cruise. Carnival did NOTHING to make this up to us even though we didn't even bother to stop at one of the ports at all. Yes, I'm sorry, they did refund $17 each. This cruise was a waste of our money and our time. When we did port it was so rainy that there was no point in getting off of the boat. Was there no other port we could have gone to? Especially when the captain KNEW what the weather report was. Since most of us were forced on this cruise why was there not more of an effort to accommodate us? In hindsight, I should have just taken the loss of the money spent for the cruise because when you spend that many days at sea with nothing to do...you tend to spend a lot of money trying to entertain yourself. This was my 5th Carnival cruise and I'm now considering NEVER cruising with them again.

Everyone of us were seasick the whole time during this Cruise. We got off Ship 10/29/17 and Wednesday 11/1/17 still feeling effects. I've been on 4 other cruises and never ever experienced this type of nausea and sickness. I used ginger oil and took motion sickness medication.

I believe this will be our last Carnival cruise. The ports of call that were replacements for hurricane hit areas were not even close to the ones we were scheduled to go to. I believe we should have been refunded money or credited some for disappointing places.

I enjoyed my cruise, ate way to much, Due to the recent hurricanes, all of our ports where changed. The itinerary they gave us sucked compared to the places we originally paid for. But over i enjoyed myself... maybe it was becasue it was a different experience for me.

Loved the cruise. Besides problems at embarkation, customs at debarkation, and lousy internet connections, overall a good time. Wished we could have had dinner in the Specialty dining room, but hopefully my recommendation for reminding cruisers of their reservations will be taken under consideration.

Everything was nice except the smoking in the Casino. I was really shocked and disappointed in this. I have Asthma and a first time cruiser friend of ours that we brought with us gets migraines from cigarette smoke so they could not go in the casino at all and they were looking so forward to it so that put a real damper on our vacation. To make things worse, the air was not working properly in the casino so not only are you in a cloud of smoke but it was so hot in there. They also do not have good instructions on how the card works in the casino. If you pull your card out and have $$ left on it, do not walk away for a few minutes until it clears as the next person can sit down and use your money. This happened to me but casino did re-imburse me thank goodness. If you get 1500 points you get free drinks but it is only when you are sitting down at a machine or table playing and does not apply if you have purchased the Cheers drink pkg. Also, not enough staff working the courtesy desk in the casino, We waited in very long lines very often. Machines are extremely tight as well, it is very difficult to win more than $20 no matter how much you are wagering...so gamblers beware.

Not what I was expecting. 50-50 experience. Will seriously have to consider taking another cruise. Did not blow my mind. Very disappointed with the food in buffet.

I Won't be back. Too much smoking, too many kids, and the buffet servers were way to rude and mean. Too many kids, the smoking on the boat was gross and made it hard to enjoy most of the activities. the buffet servers are rude, and the customer service at the excursion desk was great. The buffet servers made you really want to cuss them out but I held my peace because I'm a minister and had to maintain myself as a child of GOD but because of the servers, I will not go on another Carnival Splendor cruise, not ever and I mean that.

Disappointed that the original port of call have to be cancel. I have already been to the ports of call the ship was router the to. Would have preferred a postponement of the cruise for another time.

After calling carnival to complain they basically laughed off the poor service and didn't care that the itinerary changed 2 times and that we only got to go to 3 ports instead of 4. Gave a $10 credit for not going to Cozumel. After paying $1500 a $10 credit for missing a port was a slap in the face.

For the most part I liked the ship. I was able to relax and have fun. We did not go to our intended destinations because of the Hurricanes, but I did enjoy the alternate ports that were provided. Overall I liked the cruise and would take it again in the future.

Overall the cruise was ok. There were several things we were not pleased with and because of them, it will affect the cruise line I choice in the future. The main disappointments was the "king size" bed the drink package and the cruise ports. The cruise ports that we went to were nice however those were not the cruise ports that I wanted to go too. I understand there was hurricanes but Carnival did nothing to compensate for the fact that we were going to all these other ports and we found out 3 days before leaving.

This was our 1st and probably last cruise. We were ready to go home after 3 days. A lot of people seemed to get ill and we were ill on the 5th day. Started with a sore throat, then coughing, slight fever, and very loose stools. Not seasickness, caught a bug that was going around, probably from the buffet spoons and tongs shared with 1,400 other people

This was actually my second time on this same cruise (different ship) but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience the second time around. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone both Jamaica and the Cayman Islands are a must.

I didn't like the credit I was not given ... I made sure I called three times to confirm the amount. I don't need to give anymore information .... 150

First time sailing Carnival and will be the last! Disappointed with food choices in main Dining Room. Buffet was okay. The ship is design is different. Cruise Director was very good.

The Cruise Director is magnificent, very friendly, determined to make it a fun cruise for everyone. He does his job well. The dining room experience was wonderful. wanted to experience the Jacuzzi but too crowed all the time. Ship could use more activities during the day. Overall, my cruise experience was good.

Our cruise was awesome. The crew was very helpful and hospitable. The best stop was Half Moon Cay! We will definitely book another. The best part is my phone doesn't work, so i can just relax without worrying about text and emails.

Overall this was not a good first experience; it's to the point that I do not care to be on another cruise again if it's always like this. I prefer an all inclusive resort, it seems more personable and not as overwhelming with a lot of people.
