Pay attention to the buffet/dining room hours or you'll be stuck with pizza + ice cream!

Difficult to tell the time onboard. Put clocks at the elevators so everyone can find the time without having to carry a watch. Never was able to determine where I was on the ship, so I was always picking the wrong side of the ship to find my cabin.

Deck 6, mid ship is best for anyone sensitive to motion sickness

Don't miss the Rhythm of the Night show in Puerto Vallarta.

I am not one to suffer from sea sickness.....boat is a little rocky at times but my friend had the patches and didn't get sick.

Las Caletas was okay, but not all that. The sea lion encounter was the BEST.

Even the inside staterooms were nice....make sure to get a room toward the forward part of the ship to avoid the noise of the engine in the aft.

...if your choice of dining time is from 530-945 ....be prepared to wait

Most of the fun stun is on deck 2 (casino, atrium, dining, Red Frog Pub, theater) or 9. Get in line early for the comedy shows as they are usually standing room early by showtime. Be sure to catch a show in the theater as well. Don't miss sea-day brunch in the dining room.

Balcony is a "must". Try to get an upper deck. Port side of ship is better for viewing the coast going down the Baja.

Its way more fun if child is over 2

Never go in the summer as everything is designed for kids. No shows at night with costumes, singing and dancing. We even walked out on one of them. Otherwise the cruise was a good one. If you have kids, great cruise for you.

Need to stay informed about all the activity due to their are so much you can do.

Max out your alcohol allowance on initial on boarding, it is expensive on the ship bars. Also take your time to book the excursions, some of the self guided excursions I made to town were the best ever! Bring your own music (iTunes/ipod/ect) you will have plenty of time to entertain yourself.

Don't buy the Cheers card....because you are also paying for the days that you're in port, presumably enjoying excursions. You're better off getting pitchers, or maybe even abstaining from alcohol for a day or two!!! There's nothing like being drunk while traversing the ocean waves...

The waitstaff are very fun. You are in for a good time.

I will always pay the additional cost for the balcony stateroom
