Always get a balcony--it is so relaxing to set out on the deck in private and enjoy the view!

Go to the Serenity Deck for great views and a quiet and comfortable retreat on the days at sea when you simply want to rest.

Don't miss a night at Nick and Nora's steakhouse! If you're a couple that doesn't want to be around kids, this is not your ship. Parents with kids of all ages, enjoy! The kids will love it!

Do not bother with ship to shore excursions. You can walk the entire 10 block Scagway area, take a local shuttle to Mendenhall glacier and see the lumberjack show in Ketchican from the cruise ship.

Swimming pool in the covered deck is good. I was told to use the Bachus dining room during day time if you have special food needs. But that room is open only from 11:30 to 1:30PM and it is very crowded.

Approach the Phantom Lounge on the 3rd or 4th floor, thereby avoiding a walk through the smoky casino on the 2nd floor. Plan to spend at least an hour if you eat in the Bacchus Restaurant, otherwise head up to deck 9 for faster dining.

this ship has wonderful adult serenity area, which also includes an adult only pool. However spots fill up quickly especially on a nice day but all in all a lovely place to spend the day
