Carnival legend what a marvellous ship I can't get my eyes of it the workers on it was so nice if you could ever go on one do this one make sure you bring a book

just finished our 17 night transpacific cruise. activities may not have appealed to us but no complaints with ship. plenty of variety for food. best of all was the staff.. absolutely the best.

We did not the Vancouver to Honolulu portion of the Sydney reposition cruise. Loved the ship layout, once we got used to it. The staff and crew we're great overall. We did your time dinning and sat with people 8 times out of 9 trips to the MDR for dinner. The ladies always put us with people who were fun to meet. There were so many bartenders that were greatly appreciated. Martin, Dani, Jordan and Phillip were 4 of our favorites. The Fun Squad were just that. Jen as CD, Alex, and Misty kept us laughing and Reirei was a hoot. Only complaint for the cruise was the last day was spent on Maui. We docked at 9am and didn't leave until 11pm. It caused packing issues for debarkation the next morning. Even with that, I would recommend this cruise and ship to anyone.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary,( retirement and mortgage pay off) and couldn't have had a better trip. Special thanks to all that made it a great trip.

This ship was horrible, the food wasn't appetizing at all, and the ship layout was so bland... they didn't have many of the things onboard that I looked forward to. They should have a better ship for an Alaska cruise, because you pay so much.

This was a great trip. We would go on this cruise again anytime . All the staff are great. the ports of call are good just need to change the time in port at some of them.

Great 40TH Anniversary trip for two people who had never cruised. Saw beautiful scenery that can't be described and pictures don't do justice. You have to experience it yourself.

The cruise was amazing, didnt like British Columbia because we arrived late and everything was closed.. Wasted time and energy walking downtown just to find everything closed.

A let down. The entertainment was awful. The food was repetitive. August should not even be offered as a travel month due to cloud cover.

It was fantastic ! A trip of a lifetime! I couldn't imagine a better cruise! Alaska was more in every way possible! If you can, take this cruise, you'll never regret it!

So, 5 days into the cruise I get a letter requiring me to be present at a front bar 45 minutes before docking at Victoria, BC. I was told if I didn't show up, no one would be allowed to leave the ship. We were NOT planning on disembarking at Victoria since I'd been deported as a teen because a guy I traveled with had a joint in his luggage. So we had no plans on visiting Canada. But I was required to disembark and go through customs where I was asked about my deportation and any criminal issues I may have had 45 years ago. Apparently Carnival sends the ships manifest of passengers to Canadian customs who look it over and red flag people who they want to talk with. Carnival doesn't screen for who's getting off in Canada and just says ALL on custom's list MUST DISEMBARK or nobody gets off. I don't walk very well with some hip problem and was using a walker on the trip. a thousand foot ship takes some walking and at most ports there's quite a walk as well. I was just disappointed that Carnival didn't screen me out of their 'throwing under the bus' deal they have with Canada. Frosted my cookies. Won't be traveling with Carnival anytime soon, or ever.

My expectations were low since my main reason for going was to see Alaska, but everything about the cruise was even worse than I expected. Food-atrocious, activities-poor and sparse. They seem to have no idea that it is cold and rainy in Alaska and therefore nobody will be using the outdoor pools, outdoor bars, outdoor waterslide, and outdoor sunning chairs. They need more indoor activities and they were few and far between.

We chose this cruise to celebrate our 41st anniversary(was here 7 years ago). We enjoyed it just as we did 7 years ago. No disappointments as Carnival treated us great and surprised us with champaigne and a beautiful dessert for our anniversary dinner at the steakhouse

A great family vacation. Easy trip with little planning needed. The Lido deck on this smaller ship wasn't too crowded, especially if you went early for breakfast and lunch. The scenery was beautiful, especially cruising through the fjords to the Tracy glacier. The ride was smooth as we were not too far out to sea. Embarkation/debarkation at the ports was pretty easy as well.

What can I say, it was truly amazing. Great service, all crew was friendly. Would do this again in a heartbeat. Only negative was Victoria. They pretty much shut everything down that evening on the ship. The city was shutting down for the night. So that wasn't fun.

Didn't really enjoy the ship experience as we aren't partiers or drinkers. Too many people for us. However, cannot complain about food, service or room.

Carnival does a great job on the Alaskan cruise, would love to do this one again. Their naturalist on board was very good.

Food was excellent. Cruise was very well ran. Room service was the best. The king size bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Room was very well insulated from noise. At night I slept like a baby

Felt like a scam and were out thousands of dollars. I tried to upgrade to suite and couldn't, couldn't get any refund or credit. Half the party could not go because of the Canadian Visa requirement and nobody told us, and honestly in Canada nobody checked out passport going into Canada either, only passport getting back on ship. Ruined our trip to say the least.
