Make sure you take a small folding umbrella or hat (for the heat) while on excursions, and at least a lightweight rain cape/coat with hood in case of unseasonal weather.

I enjoyed everything about the ship. Camp oceans could use a little better supervision, my 9 year old was troubled with how he was treated by other children and was very concerned about the trash mouths of the leaders. He only attended once because of this which was fine. We kept him occupied.

Don't even try to use your cell phone, wifi you pay for is slow and you are on vacation, put up the tech and enjoy yourself!!

Get the Carnival Hub app and use it. It was great for keeping in contact with friends on the ship, having the most current schedule of events, deck maps, and more at my fingertips. All 6 adults in our group used it and loved it. It's a nominal fee, but completely worth it in my opinion.

Make sure you bring a couple of highlighters to mark off the activities you'd like to do each day in the daily fun times newsletter. Take advantage of room service it's 24/7.

always look at the daily activities the night before so you don't miss any good ones to plan your day it took me 3 days before I learned to read the night before to plan.

Take a backpack to make caring items easier on excursions and take the time to look at the brochure of the ships events and take advantage of them. They are fun for all ages!

Blue Iguana tacos poolside for a great lunch, Guy's Burgers were also good. Stayed up for the late night beach party on the lido and all seemed to have a great time

Pool is very small and people are wall to wall. Adult pool nice but also small. Not real relaxing experience.
