We took a tour with one of the Island tour guides at Nassau. It's $30 each, safe and his blue van was clean. Make sure he is badged and inside of the gate . Actually they will approach you as soon as you get off the ship.

Snorkel in Nassau. If you plan on ordering more than 5 alcoholic drinks per day, buy the Cheers! program. You'll end up saving money in the end.

I would recommend bringing dramamine even if you don't have a history of motion sickness. I had never gotten motion sickness before, but I could definitely feel the ship moving at times which made my head feel a bit funny.

Be sure to book excursions through Carnival. We did not have a good experience at Nassau at Paradise Island.

just make sure you check your excursions and what they include. We were very disappointed in our excursion to Atlantis. Wish we had bought a day pass and had known more about it. I was disappointed in our cruise director, he was a little crude at times and liked whispering behind your back.

if you are planning on another tatoo, do it prior to sailing. there are discounts granted for each one you have. Also bring your best formal etire (like a tuxedo tee shirt). They have countless photo opps where you can get your pic taken in front of a back drop of a fake sunset.

Iron your clothes on the first day. Carry your luggage on yourself if possible because they misplaced mine for an entire day.

If you stop in Nassau us the free shuttle to and from the shops as it is a very long and hot walk. It runs every 3-5 minutes so it is well worth it. Save your self.

For parking I would use WallyPark, it is about 15 min from Jaxport and will save you 45 dollars.

Was told that there was only one more cruise going out and that was the last one then they were retiring the boat if I had known that there was no way I was going to get on a boat that was being retired on my first cruise or one that I had standing room only to smoke I checked on that too
