Review summary

The ship was very clean, the rooms seemed larger than previous ships I have been on, especially the bathrooms. The wait staff and bartenders were all top notch, Allen at the Lido deck pool bar especially.

Water slide was fun, dinner was great every time.  I have no complaints.

We had to arrive 2 hours prior to our scheduled arrival time when returning to Jaxport due to a hurricane, but Carnival's top priority was making sure the guests were safe and didn't have to disembark during something like that.

The seas got a little rough on the way back because of the storm/speed of the ship, but that isn't Carnival's fault.

Overall, great time, the islands are still beautiful as ever!  Will definitely be booking another trip with Carnival in the future.

The Rock show was awesome! The cruise director hosted a 70s/80s singalong in the atrium that may have been the best time I had on the ship! There must have been 400 people attending!

I miss the large waterpark on the top of some of the ships, however, the Elation being an older ship was in great shape and still had plenty of the normal amenities you would expect.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was great, plenty of space even with 3 people.

Ship tip

For parking I would use WallyPark, it is about 15 min from Jaxport and will save you 45 dollars.
