Don't spend the extra money on a balcony stateroom, you really spend very little time in the room, and they have lots of areas to sit and enjoy the ocean view on the deck. Spent very little time on the balcony and the chairs on the decks are much more comfortable than the ones on the balcony.

be ready to walk. this is a BIG ship, and it's a long walk from the front to the back. if i have any complaints it is that they keep the inside temperature too cool, so that there is a great contrast when you go outside. if you walk a lot, like we did, you go in and out several times a day, and the temperature changes are really noticeable.

Check out the hot tubs on both sides of deck 5 forward. This trip was my 2nd on the Dream and these tubs were never busy .

Download the app in order to attend all the activities you enjoy. Bring an extra $200 for gratuities even if you pre-pay. The wait staff work their butts off and should be rewarded.

There is a pasta bar that we didn't discover until our third day on board. Bella Pasta is fantastic with no crowd and no lines. Many dancers eat there, so we got to talk to them.

Bring Lysol to help with the smell and don’t expect the food to be awesome. Pizza, Sushi and Guys Burgers were the best of everything.

Don't expect a lot of adult on board activites during the at sea days (we had hoped for wine or tequilla tasting) but definitely do the Guy's burgers (best ever!!) and the adult only Serenity area for peace and quiet while sunning.

If you want to tip when on excursions, it’s best to bring lots of $1 bills. There were people at the end that became sick. Understandable when surrounded by so many people for seven days! I did not get sick, but I was very careful by using Clorox wipes and washing hands a lot.
