It was fun and the service was great. The cleanliness was wonderful and we want to go again. We would like to travel to Alaska the next time. We will definitely buy water for the trip

I was well pleased with my cruise experience with CCL. It was very relaxing and fun. I will be bringing my extended family with us next year. Great job by all!!

Most of the cruise was excellent--but the balcony issue really messed up a lot of our enjoyment. not being able to enjoy our balcony due to its being over a heavily trafficked hot tub, and the resultant drunken rowdies really messed up the cruise. carnival personnel refused to get involved, saying we needed to talk to . First time using them, probably the last.

Do not sail from New Orleans, the parking is horrible and the town is dirty and do not sail out of there the week of the 4th of July....Carnival is a great cruise just not from there and this is the second time I sail from there.

We have been cruising for 14 years on many other cruise lines and I can attest, this ship, the Carnival Dream was very clean and beautifully laid out; our suit was excellent; the food and on-board activities were just okay. Based on this (my FIRST Carnival cruise), I do not plan to book another Carnival Line cruise in the future.

My initial expectations were what in the world am I going to do on a boat for 7 days. After the first day I was set straight. So many activities, from the entertainment in the Encore Lounge, to the Comedy Club in the Burgundy lounge. They truly make you forget you are even on a boat. The food was always readily available. Great staff from top to bottom.

All in all we had a very good time on our cruise because of our excursions and the people that we met but we were extremely disappointed in the service that we received and the food quality was below par. We were trying to convince a group of friends to go next year on a cruise with us, but have decided that we're not going to take a cruise because of this experience.

This cruise was a superb experience and I have been bragging about Carnival ever since. The staff make the biggest difference and they were fabulous.

Since this was my first cruise, I honestly did not know what to think.  I was pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived to the moment we left how well we were treated.  When I say well, I mean completely and utterly loved on.  The Carnival staff were so very professional, courteous, polite, fun, and they remembered your name from beginning to end.  They were there every step of the way with the primary goal to make your time fun and enjoyable.  The things that I absolutely loved were how they celebrated my daughters birthday, how they took care of my mom (who rides a scooter), the amount of food options, the amazing cruise director, the GUYS HAMBURGERS AND 24 hour ice cream.  Even the pizza was delicious and I hate pizza.  The shows and events were fantastic.  The ports and excursions were incredibly fun and easy to book/attend (be sure to book through carnival!) - I loved everything about this trip and I can't wait to book my next cruise! 

We did this cruise as an anniversary cruise and had a great time. This staff was so great and treated us to some unexpected perks since we were celebrating our anniversary.

This was our first cruise through New Orleans and it was so smooth! We were zone 22 for debarkation and we're off the ship and through customs at 10am. 

I thought the ship was very pretty and very clean.  There were lots of smaller spaces to read a book and be in the sun or have a conversation. Very nice.     Even with 4000 people on board there were times that there were very few people in some areas which was nice. 

The Pools----The pools are too small and were loaded with kids.  

i never went in the pool the whole cruise.

The adult area is great!  The two hot tubs for adults only and the sitting area was brilliant.  Now ---just to have an adults only pool would be fantastic!!!

The food was delicious on lido and the dining room and I liked the little performances in the dining room done by the staff!  That was fun!

The rooms were kept very clean and the towel art was very cute!

We did feel that we should have been warned about being on the first floor as the motor was below us and bumpy and loud.  We think there should be a discount offered for those rooms as they were not ideal in that way, however they were nicely kept.

Won't be going on another cruise. I guess we aren't cruise type people. There just wasn't enough time at each port and I felt rushed when we were there.

We loved everything about our cruise. Our room was great. The dining staff was great. The activities we're great. Our excursions were great!! The kids program wasn't too bad either, when our daughter was able to attend. 

We were on our honeymoon. The food on the Carnival Dream was amazing.  Step outside your comfort zone and try everything. GO to the main dining room. The waiters are phenomenal Andy and Shania are the absolute best. Dewa is amazing also. Guy's burgers and smokehouse are to mouthwatering.  Everyone is so kind.  Our cabin steward was so wonderful.  I loved having an ocean balcony room.  Plenty of room and outstanding sunsets.  The entertainment on board was wonderful and fun.  Best vacation of our lives.  Go on excursions, especially in Cozumel and Belize. 

The cruise was excellent. There could be some improvement with the boarding of the ship. The process wasn't smooth. We were just told to get in line. No one helped with checking in our luggage or telling us where to do this. We ended up carrying 4 bags all the way through check in and to our rooms. Our stateroom steward, hartanto, was amazing. He was prompt to assist with anything we needed. He was very friendly, always greeting us by first name, always smiling and saying good morning. He checked our room 3 times a day and always made sure we had fresh towels. We loved him!  Our dining staff, Anak and yoyo were the best. We could not have asked for better service! The were polite, friendly, hard working and attentive. We would request them when we went in for breakfast. These 3 staff members made our trip so much easier!  I hope to see each of them again in the future and hope carnival has big things in store for them. They are super friendly and genuinely care about their guests! 

I've taken many cruises with Carnival but this one was the worst. My room was great in size and suitable for my handicap needs but it was dirty. I have never been on a cruise where it's been filthy like this. The staff of course were amazing and overworked, but they were polite and they performed an amazing job under the circumstances. If that wasn't enough, I was called from customer service and asked to give up my handicap room just because they did not witness me using my wheelchair everyday. Well, I'm terminally ill and I don't want to sit in a chair if I don't have to. I was offended by the phone all.   The port of call to Honduras was awful. 

The cruise personnel were excellent for the most part but I was simply not pleased with this cruise. As for my booking experience, cheap cruises did a wonderful job getting me on the specific cruise of choice, they also included onboard spending for both my husband and I. I would recommend cheap cruises to others desiring to cruise in the near future. They were excellent. By all means, please use your own judgment, this was just my worst experience in my cruising history and my husband clearly agreed. 

Staying in the air conditioning area's of the ship.  Shops were nice.  Found some nice souveniers.  Food was good in the dining area.  Did not like the location of our room though.  Heard the theater underneath us and the vibration of the music.  It was nice and quiet as we slept though.  The humidity of the trip was awful.  We aren't used to that as we are from California.  I hadn't sweat like that in my entire life.  It rained one day but that was ok until I walked out on deck and my glasses fogged up.  Felt like a sauna.  Did not swim or take in any shows.  Overall the trip was nice.  Met a nice couple on our dining times.  

Shore excrusions. that was fun got to swim with the stingrays and snorkle thats eas our first time to ever snorkle and it was just beautiful with the crystal clear water.

Cruise and ship were great. Excursions were great particularly Cozumel VIP Dolphin Experience and snorkeling. Expected more shows although there were comedy shows. Restaurant was great but expected more choices. Since dress code was not enforced, we could have packed fewer clothes.

On Lido deck, food was generally good but was generally the same. Pasta bar closed too early on port days. Recommend cruise to add grilled chicken sandwiches for anyone not wanting hamburgers). Desserts were mostly dry although a couple were moist. Room service cheesecake was a much better choice after soft serve ice cream / yogurt.

N.O. Type food was not good, not representative of N.O. food. Jambalaya was just uncooked rice  (1/2 piece sausage and no chicken in fresh full pan). Bread pudding did not taste like bread pudding. Chefs need to eat N.O. food. 

Didn't need all the water we bought. Not enough "bars" to get soda (cheerless bubbles). Some took a long time. Not all soda choices were available. 

Activities on Lido deck were entertaining. Liked movie nights. 

We were very disappointed with this cruise.This was our third cruise on three different cruise lines and it couldn't hold a candle to the other two. Nothing about the cruise was outstanding, but our experience with the gift shop was absolutely awful! I purchased two inexpensive tee shirts from their sale table. They were $16.95 each or 2 for $20, so I didn't expect much. When I wore one of the shirts on our shore excursion the next day, the stitching began unraveling and coming apart almost immediately. When I took it back to exchange it, the sales clerk said they couldn't take it back because I had worn it. I tried to explain that it was obviously defective, but she said that it didn't matter, she couldn't take back anything that had been worn. When I asked to talk to the manager, he told me the same thing and that it was company policy. I asked to talk to his supervisor and he told me his supervisor was in Miami, so I asked him to call Miami. He asked me to come back in 30 minutes, after he had a chance to talk to his supervisor in Miami. When I returned, he told me that he was allowed to exchange this one shirt, but he was told not to accept any more returns from me. All of this over an obviously defective $10 shirt for a customer who had spent several thousands of dollars on a cruise for 5 people. Our previous cruises were on Norwegian and Holland-America and they were both far superior in every respect to Carnival. We will never cruise Carnival again.
