We have been cruising for 14 years on many other cruise lines and I can attest, this ship, the Carnival Dream was very clean and beautifully laid out; our suit was excellent; the food and on-board activities were just okay. Based on this (my FIRST Carnival cruise), I do not plan to book another Carnival Line cruise in the future.

I gave an overall of 3-stars because: A couple of side dishes/appetizers, in the main dining room, were above average but for the most part, typical menu; nothing special at all. The buffet was just adequate. The brunch dining was the way to dine on this ship; the buffet can't stand a chance. Guy's burger bar and the BBQ shack was excellent. The steakhouse was very much above average. In fact, our dining experience was top-notch. Too bad the rest of the restaurants did not follow suit.
Onboard Activities

The pool - Very poor; too many people, not enough pools. On-board activities - Unless you want to play bingo or gamble in the casino, this ship isn't for you. Not enough activities to calm the boredom.
