I was well pleased with my cruise experience with CCL. It was very relaxing and fun. I will be bringing my extended family with us next year. Great job by all!!

It was fine. It took us a total of 1 hour from the time we dropped off our luggage until we were on the ship. We did not have the FTTF or any priority. The lines were long, but moved pretty well. It was organized and we were pleasantly surprised with this aspect of the trip.

Food and Dining

I have not cruised Carnival in many years and had a question about the quality of the food going in. The first night we ate at the Steakhouse and I would say that that meal was better than any other white tablecloth meal I have had in my hometown. The rest of the food from dining room to Lido to specialty, were all excellent. I was very pleased with the quality of the food in all respects.
Onboard Activities

I really did not do many of the activities. I wanted to relax and read and that is what I did. I did check out all the activities so I can bring my young grandson next year.
Entertainment

The entertainment was very good. They had some type technical difficulty on the first night so no show then, but other than that, was high energy and entertaining.

Very, very impressed with the service and staff. Must mention several by name. Rodel was our head waiter in the dining room. Very efficient, fun, friendly. Can not say enough great things about him. He loved Carnival and loved his job! He is a real credit to CCL. Minguel was our assistant waiter and he too was very efficient and friendly. Great job by both of them. Heiner was our stateroom steward. Very friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome whenever we returned to our room. I noticed that when we encountered any staff they would be smiling, greet us, and would actively make sure we were having fun.
Loved this port. Well maintained and landscaped. Very beautiful. Did the Maya Key excursion and it was outstanding. Very relaxing, good food and service.
I was dreading this part but we were in no hurry as we only had a 3 hour drive home. We were in no hurry so we checked our bags the last night and waited on Lido Deck for our call. It was very organized and was faster than we were expecting. Passengers started offloading about 7:30 am and we were off and in our car by 9:30 am.
