Review summary

I thought the ship was very pretty and very clean.  There were lots of smaller spaces to read a book and be in the sun or have a conversation. Very nice.     Even with 4000 people on board there were times that there were very few people in some areas which was nice.

The Pools----The pools are too small and were loaded with kids.

i never went in the pool the whole cruise.

The adult area is great!  The two hot tubs for adults only and the sitting area was brilliant.  Now ---just to have an adults only pool would be fantastic!!!

The food was delicious on lido and the dining room and I liked the little performances in the dining room done by the staff!  That was fun!

The rooms were kept very clean and the towel art was very cute!

We did feel that we should have been warned about being on the first floor as the motor was below us and bumpy and loud.  We think there should be a discount offered for those rooms as they were not ideal in that way, however they were nicely kept.

Ship tip

Don't plan on swimming in the pool but the kids will enjoy it. Visit the adults only area for quiet and relaxation. Very nice.

We had a room on deck 1 on the Magic this year and i figured i would hear engine and/or anchor noise and i did but it didnt bother me even when it woke me up. The plus side is a 1st floor room is very convenient when coming back from port hot and tired and they are cheaper

We like the first two floors, & like the noise of the ship. We find it quiet as far as traffic goes. We just had a higher floor and have higher floors booked. I understand you can feel more movement of the ship. We shall see. Yes, even with a packed ship, we found quiet places to relax. Glad you had a good cruise.

I have stayed on the deck 1 on my last 2 cruise. The last one this past March on the Dream. We had no problem with noise, we was mid ship.

Me to I would not stay lower than 5 and as for discount you get what you pay for ,,,,,,,,

Where would you expect the motor to be? Just curious. The Dream doesn't hold 4000 guests. Floor 1 is much, much cheaper than the higher ones.

I never stay below deck 5 or 6..depending on the ship. I can't imagine what that was like. But that is one of my favorite ships.

Not picking on you. This is the first time I have heard towel animals called towel art. BUT - it does make sense as a lot of talent goes into making the towels.

Thats exactly why the lower floors are cheaper to begin with. The same room just a few decks up will cost hundreds more.
