Overall, we really enjoyed this cruise. Great food, lovely staff, interesting ports and a busy ship. Ship didn’t feel as big as it is!!

Britannia Looses it’s gloss by Caroltours

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Britannia

This was booked as a last minute short break as the cruises we preferred didn’t fit in with our other commitments. Went much as we expected. Met some lovely people at dinner and at the Club aftermath tea. Just a shame about the weather but expect rain in Norway.

As Great As Usual by Charlotte02

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Britannia

Overall, the ship was fantastic with a great itinerary and always lots to do. The quality has dropped slightly due to obvious cuts in staffing, but it’s certainly still more than we deserve!

Our first cruise and a fantasic experience by gited75

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Europe

Great first cruise and we will certainly be looking to book another next year. If the destinations are right then Britannia will be top of the list. Our parents joined us on this cruise and they felt the ship was too big, so I guess a ship cannot tick all boxes for everybody. For us it felt right and we thoroughly enjoyed our time onboard.

Britannia by zoiew

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Britannia

We have been on over 10+ cruises and we can honestly say P&O are far below the great holiday experience you look for. Bar staff were very rude and in fact half the time don’t acknowledge you are even there! Entertainment designed for the elderly customers and there were lots of them even in the school summer holidays who don’t tolerate children. If your looking for a fantastic cruise and happy staff use Royal Caribbean they are amazing and make you feel happy on your holidays !!!

Beautiful Fjords by Cookiee

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Scandinavia

Had a wonderful time, everything was perfect. Never saw the Benidorm at Sea groups, missed the fighting, didn’t see the rude people. Britannia was brilliant. I could not fault one single thing on our cruise, even though on our return all the family thought we had been caught up in riots on board & pushed & shoved everywhere 😔 Nope never saw it, just had the best time ever. Thank you Britannia & P&O

First time on Britannia, always been on Azura and Ventura before. Much much smaller rooms and balcony although a more modern fresher feel to the ship.

Excellent by brio1955

The only thing I have got against this ship is the amount of sun loungers too many you can’t get round them apart from that beautiful ship

Underwhelmed by IanxC

First time with P&O but likely our last. Sailed Celebrity on our previous 3 cruises, on different ships, and was far superior.

Another fantastic cruise by branddad

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Europe

Another great cruise aboard Britannia. Our first cruise , which was last year was a fly cruise to the Caribbean so we were a little unsure of what to expect with a cruise where more time was spent at sea rather on land. However the sea days were spent relaxing, which is part of what holidays are for, and we found them to be enjoyable. The food and service in the MDR’s was again 1st class. Don’t think we had the same meal twice. We usually like a table on our own, however a few times we did share and found this good also, the vast majority of other passengers were friendly and good company. We enjoyed the entertainment both in the live lounge and the headliners. Did attend a couple of the sail always on the lido deck, noisy but fun. The combination of a meal and entertainment, Eric and Earnie, in the Limelight club was fantastic. My only observation / complaint would be that P&O should adhere to their rules regarding putting towels out early and leaving the sun lounger unused for hours. This could also apply to rules regarding dress code. Would I sail with P&O again Yes Would I sail on Britannia again Yes Would I recommend both to friends and family Yes

Very enjoyable cruise with calls at interesting places. by paulm100

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Scandinavia

First cruise for us. Got a bit bored with the sea passages but enjoyed all the fjords and ports of call. Enjoyed the organised trips we went on and equally enjoyed just wandering about the ports and villages where we paused. Liked the ship, the cabin and the food.

Currently on Britannia, ... by charliebolt57

Sail date: /
Ship: Britannia

Currently on Britannia, first time, 2nd time with P&O, fantastic itinerary, fabulous ports, food good, then it all changes, the staff on the ship are awful, poorly motivated and very unhappy, customer service is frankly non existent, organisation even worse, why is Britania looking so tired? Its 4 years old!! Speaki g to the staff, cutbacks are severe, motivation from officers at an all time low. Sadly P&O just cant keep pace with Celebrity, Princess etc, it's very sad, this will be our last time with both Brtannia and P&O.

Going on this ship again! Really looking forward to seeing what they have change on in when it goes in for refurbishment as the ship isn’t built in the best way having to go up to get there to a Lower deck where’s the logic!

First Experience of P&O & Brittania - yes I would go again by MrBri

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Europe

For a first trip on Brittania was happy with the experience and would certainly consider another trip, although would choose a time without so many children as we did go in half term.

Bad start but ended well. by SJS2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Europe

A good crew, captain visible and informative although I did think the announcement at 2am that woke us up to say someone was ill and the ship was turning back to meet the helicopter could have waited until morning. Would go on Britannia again.
