Review summary

Currently on Britannia, first time, 2nd time with P&O, fantastic itinerary, fabulous ports, food good, then it all changes, the staff on the ship are awful, poorly motivated and very unhappy, customer service is frankly non existent, organisation even worse, why is Britania looking so tired? Its 4 years old!! Speaki g to the staff, cutbacks are severe, motivation from officers at an all time low. Sadly P&O just cant keep pace with Celebrity, Princess etc, it's very sad, this will be our last time with both Brtannia and P&O.

I totally agree with you the staff were rude and unfriendly!!! We have cruises lots of times with Royal Caribbean and I can say that P & O are well under par compared to them!!! We won’t be sailing with them again unfortunately.

Can honestly say my experience was totally different. Staff seemed more happy, perhaps due to no longer having to beg us to give them 100% on the feedback questionnaire. Thought the ship was fine bar the usual problem, the lifts.

Just got off Britannia, fantastic cruise... Never have problems with staff as I have great respect for them and always give tips... My wife and I cannot understand the gratuities being stopped as the staff are great... it is only miserable moaning passengers that persistently removed the gratuities that have caused this... staff must feel undervalued, so well done to everyone who has ever removed the tips... enjoy your few quid.... 👍 I only have problems with rude passengers...

Hi I was on the same cruise as the above and it was fantastic. Crew outstanding not moaning and ship did not look tired at all. What I did hear and see was a lot of moaning by some passengers who in my opinion are very professional at it. Also they were rude to staff. It was our 5th time on brittania and we are going again in November 19.

Having spoken to a number of the crew it is cutbacks, and stretched work patterns causing them to have a lack of morale, management as much as staff, everything leads from the top, cruise has been great but it is a million miles from the other lines, looking at the share price tells a story.

Was on Britannia 25th may this year. I thought the staff and in fact everything about her was amazing. We had a fantastic time, and can't wait for Iona next year.

Could it be that P & O have cut the gratuities as we've been on her 7 times and always seamed that the crew were happy we're due to go on her in September,hopefully they will cheer up by then.
