Review summary

Overall, the ship was fantastic with a great itinerary and always lots to do. The quality has dropped slightly due to obvious cuts in staffing, but it’s certainly still more than we deserve!

Embarkation

Trialled a new system of taking your own luggage over to the conveyers. It was just as quick, however those who are less mobile may struggle.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Good quality food everywhere, no matter when or where!

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Theatre shows are incredible considering we are at sea, however, the Britannia cast shows have remained the same for 3 years. Would love to see a little more variation! We3 were absolutely incredibly! Would love to see them again one day!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff overall are incredibly friendly and helpful. The cabin stewards, however, have dropped standards, mainly due to staffing cuts. They still get the job done, but has noticeable flaws if you’re used to a certain standard, e.g, we had a ripped bed sheet that they didn’t change even after mentioning it three times. The photography service was incredibly poor this year. We ordered the USB package and went to collect it the night before we disembarked. There was a large queue as expected, but the managed left one poor girl on her own to sort through hundreds of photos. They decided to take the photos to reception so between 1am and am. They still were ready by 2am. Then they told us to return at 3am. They weren’t ready by 8am! Many people either missed disembarkeation times or simply had to leave without the photographs.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleanliness is not an issue. The layout of the ship may be difficult for older passengers, as certain lifts get cut off at certain points; some decks are only accessible by one set of lifts.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect as always! Balcony is spacious for two guests, clean and an incredibly nice sleeping space, or relaxation space when wanting to escape the buzz of the public areas!

Disembarkation

Decently organised and quick. Never personally had an issue, but I am aware the baggage collection can be a little chaotic.
