Review summary

We have been on over 10+ cruises and we can honestly say P&O are far below the great holiday experience you look for. Bar staff were very rude and in fact half the time don’t acknowledge you are even there! Entertainment designed for the elderly customers and there were lots of them even in the school summer holidays who don’t tolerate children. If your looking for a fantastic cruise and happy staff use Royal Caribbean they are amazing and make you feel happy on your holidays !!!

I’ve cruised with P&O over 25 times and Cunard over 15 times, in my opinion Cunard are better than P&O however the older and/or adults only ships are a lot better. Britannia is my least favourite, it’s ultra modern and far too big for me. We did a Caribbean in 2015 on Britannia and it was overrun with families which isn’t ideal as it destroys the traditional P&O experience as they are loud and looking for an informal cruise. There should be a stricter limit on the number of families.

I’m with the poster. We cruise 4-5 times a year on a mix of lines. P&O are the bottom of my list.

Been on Royal Caribbean 7 times and someof the staff on there were rude so dont expect all of the staff to be happy all of the time as the OP is stating

I was on the cruise 2 weeks before you and I had a fantastic experience. Prompt service in the bars and fantastic entertainment daytime and evening. Sorry to hear your experience was not as pleasant. I cant wait fo my next P&O cruise
