Review summary

This was our first cruise, loved everything about it and can't wait to book up for next year. Nothing but positive except the sun beds ....

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very organised, straight forward and speedy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
So much food to choose from, horizon restaurant always fresh hot food, tables and chairs cleaned and plenty to choose. Big variety of food, and drinks options

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Took part everyday in line dancing, brilliant for all levels of mobility. Great quizzes everyday

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Watched 5shows all really entertaining, always availability for seating,

Children's Programs

Not with children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room steward was friendly, towels clean and folded every day. most of the waiters had a smile on their faces and happy to help! Some needed to try ALOT harder.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Loved the ship and found the lay out good. After reading in the booklet and on the room to abt saving of sun beds not allowed! And if towels were left on for 30 mins not in use the staff would remove was clearly not ment for everyone!! As many a time my husband and I were having to sit in a chair through lack of beds to time over an hour and half 11 beds with towels on and NEVER a person returned.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nothing negative to say, it was what was advertised, only niggle was sheets never flattened when quilt was straitened , don't think carpet was hovered in 2 weeks

Ship tip

Need to get into the Live Lounge early if wanting a seat on party nights.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

4 out of 5
This is our home town, so nothing new, problem with build up of traffic as Saturday boarding, and shoppers about

Cadiz (Spain)

4 out of 5
Walked around ourselves into the town, abt 15 min walk. Port nice and easy to leave and return

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
Live Barcelona ,easy to get shuttle out of port, tour bus waiting which we jumped on, 45 mins int centre to change to blue route to see more places of interest. Easy to do own things

Florence/Pisa

5 out of 5
Again easy shuttle from port, tour bus at bus stop 15 euros return per adult to Pisa very cheap in a lovely air con modern coach, ALOT cheaper to do than excursion with p&o

Cartagena, Spain

5 out of 5
Port nothing special, but after small walk into town wow how beautiful

Gibraltar (U.K.)

3 out of 5
Only walked into the town as not interested in going up the rock. Sail away party. Was BRILLIANT

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very organised, and left 10 minutes before our time, finding luggage was no that hard when consider how much luggage was ther.

Next time tell one of the crew that no one is using the sunbed and you would like to use it, I do it but make sure you time it first I've done it, when the people came back they had a mkne and went on their way. 👍
