Depends on the cruise line. For NCL it's breakfast in buffet, lunch is burgers n hot dogs at the grill, and dinner it's one of the specialty restaurants.

For dinner, Sabatini's on Princess, Pinnacle on HAL and the MDR on Regent. Breakfast and lunch---the buffet on all three. If we chance onto a ship where the MDR is doing okay on one of the two mass market lines, then we do a lot of dinners there, if not, then we seek out other venues for dinner, like the specialties or the buffet.

Breakfast at the buffet. Lunch is usually the deli, burger joint or the burrito place. Sea Day - brunch in the MDR. We typically do the Steakhouse for at least 1 dinner and MDR all the other nights.

Anywhere and everywhere on the ship :) We don't usually do the specialty restaurants since the buffet and MDR suit us just fine. We particularly enjoy Sea Day Brunch in the MDR

Breakfast and lunch at the buffet or other causal dining area and dinner in the MDR. Specialty restaurants rarely. Snacks...I don't tell that way there are no calories.Wink

Buffet for breakfast and fresh fruit snacks during the day. Lunch, depends if we are peckish or hungry, there are various venues on board. MDR for dinner more often than not. Pay for places rarely, unless it's something I don't cook.

Room service for morning coffee, breakfast at the Lido buffet, lunch from the Lido - Carnival's grilled Ruebens at the deli are fantastic, and dinners always in the MDR. I've got to try the mile high carrot cake from the coffee bar on our next cruise.

Room service for morning coffee, Buffet for Breakfast, International Cafe for lunch, MDR for dinner and Crown Grill at least once during the cruise. And as much pizza, hot dogs and ice cream I can consume in between.

Oh and cookies from the International Cafe at bedtime ....
