Review summary

Overall a nice cruise on a well maintained ship. The two unpleasant experiences were already detailed in previous sections- overly zealous coffee police, and almost nonexistent internet service.

Took longer than we usually experience. At one point, HA staff asked us to move our wine from one suitcase to another to fall within their guidelines for carry on luggage. We’ve never had that happen on other cruise lines.

The dining experience was better than most. We really liked the feeling of being in a dining room while in the buffet. In addition, the food in the buffet was much better than we’ve had on other cruises. They have staff serving the food in almost every station. The staff was great there!

90% of the wait staff and all of the room stewards were fantastic. The only exception was a coffee bar barista who harassed me for sharing a taste of my coffee with my husband, and for ordering 3-4 coffees in a day. She wanted to know if I was drinking all of them, and where was I drinking them. Unpleasant and uncomfortable, to say the least.
