If you have a problem with a shore excursion, mention it on the ship as soon as possible.

Don't.
blu7602
Smaller ship that seems to be geared for older passengers

Don't miss the views from the 13th deck. It's a nightclub at night, but during the day, it's a great place to sit and sip your coffee and watch the breathtaking Alaskan landscapes.

The Windjammer Buffet is often a better option than the dining room for breakfast and lunch.

If booking balcony, book forward cabins. They do not have a obstructed view. The cabins on the hump do not have obstructed views but are really loud. All other cabins you cannot look down at the water

Watch out for covid.. it’s out of control right now

Don't expect every room to look the same. The YouTube video we watched that showed a handicap accessible Jr. Suite on the Seranade of the Seas, was a completely different color and had completely different type of bathroom tiles.

Go and have fun!

Enjoy the time on the ship.

Do not sail.

Sailing out of Vancouver, I recommend choosing the earliest embarkation time and get there at least half an hour early.

Don't expect too much... it's a older ship
Jubes44
I wouldn’t do my time dining, it was lined up several nights with people waiting for tables. We had the early dining and it was very nice to be able to walk right in and sit down.

Try to be at the front of the boat while sailing through Tracy Arm Fjords…and bundle up!!

RCCL did not provide much assistance with the required COVID testing at the end of the cruise. RCCL provided websites where you could make an appointment, but little else. Websites for travel guidance depending on your test results were also provided. We felt we were on our own once we got off the ship. RCCL did provide info on help with costs caused by a Positive COVID test result, we have submitted our costs and have not received a reply yet.
