Love being back to Alaska. So sad to see that the Mildenhall Glacier has receded as much that it had.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Simple and straight forward.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dinning room was nice. The food and service is showing signs of lack of staff. The buffet had the usual different choices but it seemed that it didn't change from day to day. It seemed that that same food was there at dinner every day except for the carving table.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The trivia is always a challenge. The weather didn't allow for to many outdoor activities. Again, lack of experienced staff was evident.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The musicians were excellent. The shows were extravagant. Didn't care much for the band "Goddess".
Children's Programs
No children.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The staff saved this category. The service was a bit lacking as lack of experienced staff was evident and some language issues.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Love the Serenade. They clearly fixed up the common areas. Rooms need attention.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Enough room for 2 and the attendant bent over backwards to make us comfortible.
