A: We stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown Channel District. It was literally minutes from the port, very comfortable , and offered a good free breakfast. You could pay for parking at the hotel and take the shuttle to the port, or you could drive a few bl... ocks and park at the terminal. Restaurants, aquarium, and the WW II victory ship museum all within walking distance. Tampa was a very easy port to cruise from!See More

Q: When and if you get the chance to bid on an upgraded room, and it says x amount per person for the duration of the cruise, does that mean per person per night if it’s accepted or just that flat rate per person? Say I bid $86 on an upgrade is it going to be a total of $172 for just per person to be upgraded for the duration or $1204 for per person per night?! Does this make sense?! Thanks!
