The ship, not the biggest afloat, was easy to get around and very attractive in appearance. Cleanliness and attention to detail were obvious.

Sailed on the Serenade of the Seas - beautiful ship and food and service was ok. NO comparison to Celebrity so will not do Royal Caribbean again. No ice pack could be found for my injury and no one seemed to care about it. Couldn't hear announcements, not enough information about ports.

We just arrived from one of the best cruises that we have taken. A "thumbs up" to the Serenade of the Seas. Our trip took us to the Eastern Caribbean. The first night we have rough seas but then the waves and the weather improve giving us an excellent trip. The cabin super comfortable beds and the cabin helper took very good care of us. We have two cabins, the other for our two sons. The Windjammer Buffet incredible, many selections and food stations and the waiters always there to help you. The Solarium great for relaxation and the Gym great to burn some calories. Highly recommend this ship.

We recently sailed on the Serenade of the Seas, and all I can say is "Wow!". Having sailed on larger ships we were concerned about crowds, but the exquisite laout proved our fears to be misplaced. Traveling with our 22 and 16 year old sons and our 3 year old daughter, we booked a family cabin (not a suite) and we had no idea what to expect. The cabin was huge, larger than a junior suite and had some new unexpected features (really liked the new shower 'door" vs the old curtains)! Lots of new storage options have been added (3 closets & two 6 drawer dressers), which made it easy to unpack and feel like there was a place for everything. The layout of the cabin was impressive and not tripping over each other in the cabin really enhanced our cruise experience. We're Platimum members of the Crown and Anchor Society, so clearly we really like Royal Caribbean's style, service, and innovative ships. We typically ate breakfast and lunch at the Windjammer as it really isn't a "buffet" anymore, now it's like a food court with many more choices, stations you can approach from all sides (so no endless line!). Very wide-open and airy feeling, a huge step up from the typical ship buffet. We loved all the nightlife options. The shows were great but we really enjoyed the new latin club, Boleros, the Champagne Bar and the live music at Schooner's Pub. Felt like a totally different night out, every single night. The new Seattle's Best coffee shop didn't hurt, either! The water slide at the kiddie pool made a big "splash" with our 4 year old as did her experience at Adventure Ocean. Overall we have to say the ship was really impressive, the staff was wonderful as always.

From start to finish, the cruise was worth the cost. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The ship was fantastic.

We recently travel for the first time on the Serenade of the Seas ship. We had a great time on this ship. We usually like going on one of the larger ships but this ship was great. The features of the ship were cool. I had one of the room in the rear of the ship with a balcony which was a first for me. The view from the rear of the ship is different from being on either side of the ship. At least I can see the from both sides. We celebrated our anniversity in the resturant called Chops. The food was the best ever. They cater to our every needs. Chops resturant did not disappoint us. I will do it again on my next cruise. I loved the broadway shows. You can't tell that the shows were being performed on a ship. The sports area was fun place to be. Guys and Gals was there on Sunday watching the games. The atmosphere was loud and fun. People form whom you never met before were either cheering with you of against you. IT WAS GREAT. The casino was not so much fun for me because i lost , not to much but it was fun just the same. The attruim music was something to see. Each night there was a different band. Each band was good and the spanish band was great out of all of them. The know how to play and keep the crowd going. The Windjammer buffet really isn't a "buffet" anymore, now it's like a cool marketplace/food court with many more choices, stations you can approach from all sides (so no endless line!). the ship was very nice, clean and just a pleasure to ride on. No motion sickness. The menus in the normal resturants were a bit bland, but the specialty resteruants were great. the staff was great. all in all it was a nice expierince.

We really enjoyed this cruise. I was recovering from breast cancer surgery and this trip really relaxed me. My daughter and new son-in-law were with us as well as our good friends and my daughters maid of honor and her boyfriend. The young and old gang! I am always amazed at the way this cruise line is so organized.Service was excellent, from our stateroom attendant to the waiters and the bartenders. It also was my birthday while were on the ship and it was a great time.

This was our third cruiseand the ship was one of the best. The layout and ease of finding our way around was a pleasent suprise. Overall it was a great cruise and we are looking forward to doing it again.

Great cruize experience would recommend to anyone, the stops were great and the excurisions were a great value and well organized.

Overall the cruise was great. The crew was very accomodating and the ship was clean. I think they need to monitor the deck area better for people leaving towels on the lounge chairs and not returning to them. Also they needed a little more variety in the lunch menus.

This was my first experience on a cruise. My husband stayed at home so it was just myself and my 4 year old son. I was impressed by the fact that we both had a great time. There were times he went to the kids club and I had some time to do what I wanted and there were times we spent together and had a great time. We had an inside stateroom which was very clean and well laid out with plenty of space to unpack and feel at home. All through the cruise I felt very pampered by the attentive staff, especially the stateroom attendant and the dining room staff. The food was good in the dining room and also at windjammers. With a 4 year old I didn't sample much of the night-life although I could have had I wanted to since the kids club was open until 10 every night and then you could pay $5/hr from 10-1am. The ports were Icy Point Strait, Skagway and Juneau. I especially like Skagway and Juneau. I did not do a lot of shore excursions since I thought they were quite expensive.

Ship was very well layed out and easy to get around. Well maintained and nicely decorated. Staterooms are a little tight but the balcony was worth it.

Overall a good time at good value. Crew was typical of most cruises. Very friendly and accomodating. Dinning room meals were O.K. Not great.The two restautrants, Portifino and Chops were execellent. Only real complaint was the inconsistancies in bar charges. I drink Manhattans. I paid from $5 to $8.50 depending on which bar made the drink. And you don't know until you get the receipt to sign. Apparently different bars use varying qualities of Bourban, and charge accordingly. but they don't tell you first. Also "house wine" red or white is usually available at all bars on most cruise ships. Not on this cruise. Some had both. Some had only "house" red but premium white etc. Have previously been on 2 Celebrity cruises and this was NOT the case. Additionally, we found Celebrity to be a 'cut above" R.C. in most areas.

Serenade of the Seas is an awesome ship. I highly recommend this ship to anyone. Everyone on that ship was like one big family!! The Serenade singers and dancers are awesome. The jugglers and magicians were superb. I enjoyed my vacation tremendously.

It was a good cruise for vacation. The staff make you feel special. They were a lot of latin staff, it was easy to communicate.

This ship is not as big as the ship I went on previously which is good. There were never lines at the eating areas, the staff is so nice and really make every effort to make you feel comfortable. The pools (with the exception of one day) were not crowded you always got a chair at the pool.

I was shocked at how nice the cruise actually was. I did not think I would like it as much as I did. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, the food was excellent and there was plenty to do on the boat if you chose not to leave the ship on one of the stops.

Good ship, with nice rooms (even the cheaper rooms do have a confortable king size bed). Good shows, nice (little) casino, good animation team, medium buffet and rather 'normal' food (I expected exceptional good food on a cruise, but at the Serenade of the Seas, the food was the only negative point. It was not bad, but certainly not excellent !)
