Review summary

Good ship, with nice rooms (even the cheaper rooms do have a confortable king size bed). Good shows, nice (little) casino, good animation team, medium buffet and rather 'normal' food (I expected exceptional good food on a cruise, but at the Serenade of the Seas, the food was the only negative point. It was not bad, but certainly not excellent !)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was poor, not really good, especially in the dinning room (reflection). The food in the buffet was a little bit better, but overall : food = disappointement (only one on this cruise)

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We were running from one entertainment to the other. An excellent filled program, sometimes too many things were happening at the same time. (only negative point, no good french instructions, even when a french program was available)

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great staff, very frendly and joking people !

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean ship, with a modern and very nice decor, good accessibility (with excellent elevators)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved the ship, size, decor, .... Very good comfort (for the price) in the rooms. Nice (big) king size bed, even in the interior small cabines.

Ports of call

St. John's, Antigua

Don't Miss: helicopter tour towards the Montserrat Vulcano

Pirate extravaganza..... just a ship... nothing really happened

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
We did daily an excursion. The underwater scooter of BOSS is very spectacular !
Don't Miss: BOSS UNDERWATER EXPERIENCE

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
The submarine was great. The little tour on the isle was disappointing (some very nice views, but I expected more than great beaches in Barbados).
Don't Miss: ATLANTIS III (submarine experience)

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

3 out of 5
We went straight to Anguilla, to swim with the dauphens. Pitty that we did not had a little tour on the isle.

Pros: The Champagne bar

Cons: The food

Recommends Serenade of the Seas? Yes!
