Ship was very well layed out and easy to get around. Well maintained and nicely decorated. Staterooms are a little tight but the balcony was worth it.

Food was excellent. Always well perpared and good presentation. We had a great table by a window with great view of ocean and surroundings. Always had plenty to chose from.

Nightly entertainment was great, very energetic and exciting to watch. Good variety and comfortable seating. Evening games were a lot of fun. Music was excellent. Cruise director and his staff made it exciting. Very professional and efficient in directing shows and activties.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff looked like they loved their jobs and it showed in how happily they greeted you everyday. Service was excellent and we felted totally pampered.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Every where on the ship was keep in tip top shape. Plenty of areas to lounge and relax. Didn't feel crowded. We had 2300 passengers and aroung 860 crew.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bed was very comfortable and had no problem falling asleep. Bathroom is tight and so is closet space, so pack light. We didn't use all the clothes we brought so we could have cut down. We looked forward everyday what new type of animal the stateroom attendant would create from our towels. Would have loved to have a bathtub to just lounge in and relax, but only had shower.

Ports of call

Skagway, Alaska

Did the dogsled and musher's camp. Very nice but too short of time to experience dogsledding completely. Plenty of shops but we didn't come to Alaska to shop, we came to see wildlife and the natural beauty of the scenery.

Juneau, Alaska

We did the whale watching and we liked this alot. The local naturalist onboard was very good and help filling time traveling to and from areas. You need a fast camera and a telephoto lens to get good pictures of the whales and other wildlife.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

Nice relaxing stop. The guide on bear tour was very good and entertaining. Her knowledge of local culture and people was very interesting. We did see bears and bald eagles but you need telephoto lens to get close-ups.

Pros: Great Service

Cons: Air Line arrangements, probably could have saved making our own
