If you're going to the Da Vinci restaurant for breakfast or tea time you can't get there from the rear elevators. Use deck 5 or 7 to move around the ship.
The seating in the Horizon & Caribe buffets was always crowded. We found coming down to the Da Vinci was much better for breakfast or lunch.
Make sure you enjoy the International Café. It is opened 24 hours. They have pastries, desserts, mini assorted sandwiches, soup ,homemade beignets, and donuts. You walk up to the counter and ask the server what you would like [ no charge ]. A server will wait on you for coffees / teas. Wonderful!
bring less clothing, dress in layers when on deck or at port. bring comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk a lot. the excursions are a must. bring binoculars, hang out in the atrium to warm your heart with lovely music. be prepared to buy a "coffee card".
We were very happy with our sitting area at Botticelli Dinning Room. It was by a window. We sit with my brother and his wife. We all enjoyed the good food and good service.
I found the ship to be hard to navigate. We were in a handicap room and assigned dining on the opposite end of the ship! Ship seemed to be older and needs to be updated. I have sailed on the Royal Caribbean 3 times and found myself comparing the two.
I would diffidently at the end of the day of cruising, sit down to dinner at one of the main dining rooms like the Da Vinci, and enjoy the great service the waiter have to offer, and the food. Also, enjoy the 3:30 tea time it's so much fun!!
