Review summary

loved this cruise, the service, the easy ambiance, and of course the exquisite Alaska cities, views and people.

the dining room staff (jason and Jesse and the matre di) were excellent.  the shops were lovely and maria in the gift shop was exceptionally pleasant and helpful.  the music in the atrium (the trio won my heart) and folk music were wonderful.

the stewart was beyond pleasant, helpful and available. always smiling and willing to help even when his hands were full!

Ship tip

bring less clothing, dress in layers when on deck or at port. bring comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk a lot. the excursions are a must. bring binoculars, hang out in the atrium to warm your heart with lovely music. be prepared to buy a "coffee card".
