Review summary

The staff was excellent. The food, breakfast was below any other cruise line that we have taken. COFFEE, that was just horrible. Hot water. In order to get a cup of coffee, we had to buy it. When I was getting my food at the buffet, one of the kitchen staff dropped sauce which came all over floor counter and all over me. The only thing they were interested in was to clean the floor and counter. Only one person came over to me and handed me a rag. NO ONE ELSE helped me. Accidents happen but this was ridiculous.

I think it was $39. , I am not positive.. It could be a little under that. Since we drink so much black coffee, it's a good deal for us... We also like a cappuccino in the afternoon... I am pretty sure the soda card doesn't include coffee...but???

Davonavo how much is the coffee card?? We both are coffee drinkers. All day and night. We were thinking of getting the drink card but wasn't sure it included coffee or just the sodas and water??

we had coffee delivered early..it was okay. Coffee in the buffet is free and okay..like coffee shop coffee, not coffeehouse coffee. .. We are coffee drinkers. We always buy a coffee card. It includes unlimited regular coffee from the coffee bar and a limited number of specialty coffee drinks. An afternoon break with a double shot cappuccino is the best. one card does us for a 7 day cruise and we have leftover specialty drinks for the next cruise. (The unlimited regular coffee doesn't carry over to a subsequent cruise.)

Interesting. I've never had to buy coffee on any Princess cruise, including on the Star last week. Food has always been spectacular. And yes, accidents do happen.
