Review summary

Good itinerary and friendly, very hard working cabin/dining staff offset by: Deteriorating dining service quality (frequent Oceania cruisers blame this on reduced staffing levels as Norwegian cuts costs); and a CHRONIC problem with noro-virus (3rd serious outbreak in 4 months; only cruise ship in CDC's data base showing more than one occurrence of this sickness during past 15 months). As a result of noro-virus, ship denied entry into Aruba and intense, needed focus on cleanliness throughout the ship negatively affected the ambiance of the entire cruise.
