There's a great Bellagio-style water show on the pool deck of the ship on some nights. On at-sea days for lunch there is a great Fish & Chips pub meal on the 7th deck. Also, a portion of the buffet is turned into a special upcharge restaurant some nights. One night it was the Crab Shack for $20.

We did make reservations for our any time dining most of the time. When we didn't we had to wait. That was not a problem because in the center of the ship, they had a stringed quartet that was really good. We didn't mind getting to listen to them while we waited.

Only complaint is too much up selling in the spa, the photo shop, and even the dining room. You can always say no but the pressure is unpleasant.

If you want specialty dining, you need to make reservations the day of disembarkation otherwise they sat they are booked. However, overtime we ate in the restaurants, at lest 33% of tables were empty. Do not think they had enough staff for the sold out cruise!

Crown Grille was a very good restaurant to eat in --- best on the ship! Make reservations early as they go quick --- 5:30/6PM times usually available! Crab Shack on top deck was not worth the extra price for the dinner!

If you don't consider yourself a senior citizen; choose another cruise line. Older customers may be satisfied though.

Ditto on the specialty dining rooms. The Crown Grill is awesome and the wait staff is second to none.

Make sure you go to the retreat pool area--not as populated for some reason because it's a little out of the way, no kids, very nice.

If you are looking for dining that is not the Horizon buffet but don't want to dress up nightly for the dining rooms, try Alfredo's on 5, midship. Delicious soups, salads and freshly made pizzas and pastas. They even have different desserts than the buffet and dining rooms. Delicious.

If you want an easier way to get around a large ship, book your stateroom close to the forward or rear stair/elevators. Using the center elevators was so time consuming. Best pictures we have had produced on a cruise (14) so that tells you how GOOD the photography department was. Staff FANTASTIC
