It all depends. If you're looking to be out and about on the ship as much as possible, and aim to only use the room for sleeping, changing, cleaning... then there's really no issue with saving a few $ and booking an interior cabin. The virtual balcony gives enough ambient light to feel like it's real, and you get to see the weather so you know how to dress when leaving the cabin. Would repeat for sure.

Book excursions beforehand, line up early for uncommon actives, go to Schooner Bar for great service, don’t tell medical your friends are close contacts if you get COVID

Tip the staff well. They work extremely hard to make everything you do seem less and worry free. Let them know how much it’s appreciated

Get a balcony room, there is nothing like enjoying the beautiful views at your leisure, especially in the morning!

Pick a room on floor 12. It's the highest floor without the obstructive overhang.

Do anything and everything you can on the ship! Go to the shows, the talks they have, etc. Try the specialty dining one night if you can. We ate at Wonderland and it was very fun and the food was fabulous.

The beds are hard, and you may have to go to a specialty restaurant for quality food. Plenty of activities and entertainment for everyone.
