If you're cruising just to see the Hawaiian Islands, it's a great way to see everything. Otherwise, I would have to say that it was overpriced for what is offered.

Be careful of NCL cutting your trip short by a day. Ours was and we were notified 1 week prior to leaving. Not cool.

The ONE thing I would bring next time are the removable 3M adhesive hooks. That way I could hang things up around the cabin (my bag etc) Someone had suggested bringing lanyards and a hole puncher for our ship cards/room cards. We did and I was so happy everyone had their key cards around their necks so I didn't hear them tell me they lost their key card. It also made getting on and off the ship a breeze.

The shore excursions are ridiculously priced. Wait until you get to each island and make your own arrangements outside of the ship.

I might not spend the extra money for the aft balcony as most of the sailing is at night so nothing much to see then. The ports are industrial so a lot of forklift noise and trucks when docked.

Bring an outlet expanded or power strip if you have several devices to charge. Bring a jacked to wear to the evening shows.

Enjoy yourself anyway that makes you happy. There's plenty to do and there's plenty of places to relax. That's what's important. We went out on tour in each island, and we were able to take a tour on each island. Those really are a good way to get a feel for each island that is a little different from the others.
