This was a great way to see 4 islands of Hawaii without checking in and out of 4 different hotels./
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The buffet was great. Different foods each day and very tasty. The free dining rooms were decorated very good but the menu was somewhat limited. Eat in both free rooms once with friends for a nice atmosphere.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Most of our time was sent on shore excursions.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The entertainment was good. The main stage room at the front of the ship was always very cold. Had to wear a coat or sweater each time. Commented to the cruise director and she said they preferred it that way. The comedian was ok. Saw him in different rooms but had mostly the same jokes each time.
Children's Programs
Did not have kids with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin was small and cozy and had everything we needed. The ship rocked each night and there was banging noises on both sides of the cabin. Turned out there was a ladder for an upper bunk stored in the closed but was not tied down tightly and rattled. We stuffed a small pillow against it to keep it quiet. The other side, the open safe door inside a cabinet banged on the cabinet so we closed and locked it.
Ship tip
Bring an outlet expanded or power strip if you have several devices to charge.
Bring a jacked to wear to the evening shows.
Enjoyed seeing the volcanoes. Wish we could have seen lava up close. Did see a little at the Volcano National Park visitor's center. When the ship left, you could see hot lava flowing down the side of the island.
Disembarked by colors assigned to the cabins. The tv screen in the main area was hard to understand - if the color was already called or was coming up next. Otherwise was very organized.
