As you can see the one day we lost was huge and ruined what could have been the greatest vacation we have had. NCL could have done better in anticipating. Renting cars vs excursion can be a great cost savings if you don't mind driving.

Very good. However we chose the ultimate dining package and ended up to be 3 meals only. In the past we had a full 7 night specialty dining room which I thought was labeled specialty as well. The price of $84 for 3 meals was not that huge in savings. But it does save you a few dollars.

You won't be sorry if you chose this room. This two room suite is awesome and large. The deck is just plain huge and it's width is 1/2 that of the ship. Depth is 20 or more feet.
Ship tip
Be careful of NCL cutting your trip short by a day. Ours was and we were notified 1 week prior to leaving. Not cool.
This was a 2 day stop scheduled but when they cut our cruise by one day we lost a day in Maui. Very disturbing as this port and Maui had a lot to offer. Had to scramble to make the one day work now.
Rented a car and went to Waimea canyon and fern grotto - Awesome. Napoli cost line on leaving was a beautiful site. Only seen by Helicopter or Cruise ship. Again rented a car to visit Waimea and falls. Really cuts down the cost of seeing these sites.
This was totally screwed up due to the one day we lost. The offered 1/7 back on your cruise purchase price and put us up at the Hyatt Regency. However we couldn't check in until 3pm, which totally screwed us out of one day of vacation time. Waiting in long lines as the hotel had to check in 700 people (imagine). When we finally got checked in it was time for dinner and nut much else as we had to check out early the next day and catch our flight. Years of planning the bucket list vacation was a bust due to the one day we lost. Many issues and time wasted planning this trip and fixing at the last moment.
