I wouldn't recommend travelung with Norwegian Cruise Lines. Their cost structures because of their hidden additional cost and service charges.

Spice H2O is a delight, as is the Thermal Suite, if you're a couple wanting child free spaces to relax.

Deck 7 is the go too. Don't go to 6 if your going to the main dinning, you take 7 to aft and then down to 6.

Best Cabin Area would be in the Mid to Forward Section as it is close to the exits, auditorium, casino, and easy to get to the restaurants.

If you are going on this cruise understand several of the ports of call are far from the cities you might want to see. Some 3 hours away. A lot of journey by bus. I wouldn’t go into Paris but spend time in Le Harve and surrounding cities. The tours were just mediocre so we had more fun navigating on our own and spending the time exploring.

Don't get "DeluxeOwner Suite" Get inside cabin at 20% of the price. You will be better off!!

Don't book travel through the cruise company; make your own arrangements. Every leg of the trip coming home was an absolute nightmare because everybody on the cruise was at the airport at the same time and in line for the same airlines. Also, there was no direction from the airlines about where the hoards of people could go, so we were left to our own devices.

Make reservations for specialty restaurants and excursions before you get on the ship, or they may be sold out.

This is not a good ship for anyone needing a mobility device. It is very narrow and hard to get by. Rooms that are not ADA rooms are not suitable for a wheelchair. Thermal suite is very small.

make sure your on the correct side of ship if going to antarctica if your on wrong side you won’t see anything unless you go outside in the bitter cold
