DONOT cruise on Norwegian, very poor managed cruise line , poor entertainment options , zero common since and cruise line simply doesn't care if your cruise was good for paying passengers they simply want your money , nearly 1/2 the entertainment options throughout the day involved a sale of some sorts again to make norwegian money , complementary entertainment was very limited , cruise should have had back up plan for closed ports , or spent additional time in Antarctica , so BOTH side could view glaciers from balcony rooms

Ship tip
make sure your on the correct side of ship if going to antarctica if your on wrong side you won’t see anything unless you go outside in the bitter cold
our excursion with norwegian cruise was a joke , if i could give a zero i would , put on a catamaran packed like sardines for 3 hours don’t waist your time on this , norwegian cruise brochure describes a stop at sign furthest south city in the world , tour guide had no idea what this was , what’d joke , lies on the brochure to get your money
Best be in the right side of ship , paid for a balcony and took this cruise specific for Antarctica’ was told both sides of ship would get equal time , complete lie our side got maybe a couple hours in the bay unless we went outside in the 30 degree cold we weren’t seeing much , captain is pitiful and cruise line should refund money , unimaginable the captain simply didn’t give a crap about half the paying passengers
I’d give this a zero if it was available same as admiralty bay but worse , not a single view on our side of ship , complete BS , captain is pathetic he turned the ship around one time to give our side a 3 minute view , then leaves elephant island two hours ahead of schedule what a POS missed two out of 5 ports due to weather ok then why not more time cruising Antarctica
A captain can't just add time to a port, or sail into a different one. It is up to the countries port authority to give permission to dock, or stay longer. Which includes those workers at the port to work late, or come service the dock.
