We had great weather & enjoyed the cruise immensely! It was our 1st cruise & we are hooked. Did everything go 100% smoothly? Of course not-there were a few lil issues-but all resolved & all done swiftly. Darin the cruise director put it perfectly on day 1-there are those people who will complain & find the bad in everything or those who will enjoy themselves no matter what! We are the latter! We all came away with such great memories & will definately be doing it again!

this was our 4th and last ncl cruise, 2 on the dawn were beyond awful! the spirit is a better ship, but don't expect much... the entertainment is low quality... was much better in the past. even the daily activities are the same as previous cruises with ncl. had a very nice experience on the spirit 2 years ago, but we could tell they have cut corners in many places. makes for a very lackluster vacation. again, a very tired rundown ship. trips not mapped out well, such minimal time in ports... even great stirrup key (their island)... could see no reason why we had to be back on the ship at 12:30 when we were unable to get off the ship until after 8am... not even 1/2 a beach day! out of my 7 cruises, darin the cruise director was the worst! there was some sort of fungus growing out of the vent in the bathroom ceiling... they did show up to clean it but tried to tell us it was "just dust". we only cruised with ncl this time because we had a big discount from our 11/06 sailing on the dawn that stayed in norfolk virignia in the rain and cold due to a broken "azipod"... proof that "you get what you pay for"!

The ship needs major upgrades. We have cruised on Royal Carribean before and I don't think some one can compare the two. The service is excellent compare to NCL, the food is better and the ship itself is much cleaner. The only two things that are better on this cruise is the port which is close to where we live and the private island which is great. I don't think we will cruise NCL anymore.

It was great for the family.. However, the port stops were too short. Our favorite was stirrip key!!

I had a very good time!!!! It was my first time ever on a cruise and was a littel nervous at first but all the staff members where very nice. I would like to go on another one!!!!

Our major dissatisfaction is not with the ship but with your travel agency. The cost we paid was supposed to be a garunteed lowest fair. We subsequiently found (the very night we had booked with you) a fare that was not only lower ($669 vs $999 plus taxes and port charges on both) but an ouside stateroom on a higher deck (deck 7 vs deck 4). We did not know of your supposed garuntee until after the cruise when you sent me an e-mail upon our return thanking us for using your agency. I had e-mailed you as soon as I had seen the $669 price and basically your reply was "Oh Well". Yoy have now said you will investigate but I am not holding my breath or expecting any satisfaction because of the way your qaruntee is written (legalese). This is a cruise issue as we had $660.00 less to spend on the cruise. We do know that we shall l never use your agency again and if ever asked we would not recommend it to anyone. A better fare is available also directly from NCL.

The ship is beautiful! The Grand Centrum area feels like you are in a luxury hotel.

This ship is old and worn. We arrived at our stateroom which was on Deck 11 balcony. It smelled of stale smoke and was very worn and dirty. They did change the bed spread for us. The food was way too salty and of poor quality. The Maitre D in Windows resturant was a jerk to say the least. After a crumby day at the so called private island we went to grab a bite to eat at Windows. After we were seated the Maitre D demanded my husband removed his hat, stating it was a safety issue, while several other men had on hats and were not told to remove them. There was not much to do on board at all, very boring cruise. The best part was Florida and the Daytona International Speedway. the seas were extremely rough. 30 ft seas! sick passangers and crew for the first few days. The staff in the buffet were crude and not friendly at all. We spent over $4000.00 on this cruise and could not wait to get off the ship. How sad for us!!! We have cruised several times previous and will from now on stay on dry land. We felt is was hustle and bustle and very disoraganized. It was not a vacation at all and I am so disappointed we spent all that money on a lousy trip.

Beautiful decor,inside cabin roomy,staff friendly and professional

My family and I went on the 'Sun' at Spring Break last year and had a wonderful experience with excellent overall service, food, and entertainment. By contrast, this recent Spring Break cruise on the 'Spirit' was very disappointing. The ship was attractive enough, but the service crew appeared under-motivated and lacking in organization. This was especially evident at the main restaurant, Windows. The menu selection appeared limited compared with our experience on the 'Sun' as well. It was very difficult to make reservations at specialty restaurants in prime time (between 6:30PM and 8:30PM) for any size party . The entertainment was especially poor and amateurish in comparison with the professionalism on the 'Sun'. In general, it was hard to believe that the two ships are part of the same line.

The Norwegian Spirit is a very clean ship. The staff are unbelieveably nice and there for you. We had 2 adults, 2 children (ages 10 & 2) in an inside cabin. It actually worked out ok and we would do it again only because of the price. The only pro was the price. The cons were that there is no window and it's very very small. The rooms do not have a clock so bring your own. There is free room service 24 hours a day which was great. We had them come every morning to wake us up (they were always earlier than the time requested).

Maharinis was the hang out every night (being a college kid). We also all loved the friendly staff at the restaurants. The ship itself was very nice and had a lot to explore. I was impressed with the gym. ALthough it had limited equipment, when working out on the treadmills you had a perfect view of the ocean.

I feel this ship is excellent; either you could find something exciting to do or just find the perfect place to relax and enjoy being on vacation. The food was excellent, this was the first vacation I came home and felt thinner; all the menus offered healthy options and the gym was never crowded. As some one who loves to dance, I was able to dance in all hours of the night. I loved this cruise and around the clock service.

It was an overall great time, I am a college student and was on Spring Break, but there were a great mix of people on the cruise that kept it interesting. The ship was great, food, amentities, and the helpfulness of the crew. Especially since I got stung by a stingray in Cocoa Beach, the crew made sure was ok everyday by calling and asking and making sure I had everything I needed.

We have sailed on NCL 2 previous times and looked forward to this 3rd trip with NCL. The ship was nice and for the most part clean. The shows were great. For the most part the food quality was very good as well, but only in the dining room. We did not really frequent the clubs or bars. We lounged at the kids pool since we had our 5 kids. They enjoyed it but was nerve racking since there was no supervision from any NCL crew members. Kids were left unattended and every rule posted was broken ie: sliding onto other kids, pushing, running, diving(pool only 4 ft deep) etc. finally someone must have said something because a Crew Member came down and eventually kicked kids out.

I have been on Carnival cruises before and feel that they are better than NCL cruises. I did enjoy the home port NCL offers since New York city is my hometown. I loved the planned excursions in each island we visited, they made the trip memorable.
