This is a great little getaway for first time cruisers. Staff had plenty of entertainment options and was very helpful. The free all-inclusive drink package is amazing. A great spring break cruise or trip to make with a group of friends 

My wife and I really enjoyed this cruise line!  It was the first time we have cruised with Norwegian but definitely not our last. The food was great and the drink package was fabulous too! The staff were very professional and have a lot to be proud of. 

Already sent complaint to Norwegian, we call multiple times to check and make sure the itinerary didn't change, they told me it didn't.  Once I got on the boat there was a change of ports and the change was to key west and the last place I want to go on vacation is where I live

This was my very first cruise and I had a great time. The staff was polite, attentive and the ship was being cleaned every second. The ship changed it destination cousr due to bad weather, however I did miss a thing. The enitre staff and crew kept everyone entertained until the very end of the cruise. The food was delicious, we paid for specialty dinning and it was not disappointing. We had a great time. 

Everything was great! No complaints. Food was good. Drinks were strong on the first day and seemed to get weaker after that BUT they were free so who cares?!

I may be a bit spoiled because I almost always go on Carnival, but I had pretty high expectations going into this cruise. I had never sailed on Norwegian and had viewed them as a nice alternative to Carnival that wouldn't have so many children on the ship. They didn't have very many children,  but that was pretty much where the good things ended. The only other things I'd say we're good was the housekeeping (although our safe in the room was broken and the only housekeeping done was making up the bed) and the show's were pretty decent. They were funny, but several of the cruise director staff had thick accents and were difficult to understand at times and their system of making people volunteer before the show was stunted and awkward. The bar wait staff that walked around the ship was almost nowhere to be found. There would be AT MOST two waiters serving the entire large theater and only before the show started. They also were scarce on the pool deck where I'm used to seeing so many that you're asked at least 3 times if you want a drink every hour on Carnival. The staff that was standing around the ship (frequently doing nothing) wasn't particularly friendly or helpful and I didn't have a friendly waiter for dinner until the very last night. That's a big difference to Carnival as well. The food was never really something great, except for the steaks. I would only ever eat a few bites of most of it. They do not have an interrupting PA system on the ship so it was very hard to hear if you were in your stateroom and impossible to hear if you were in a room where they didn't have a speaker, which was very aggravating as we were very worried about a hurricane in the Caribbean that could be affecting our disembarkment. The staff always seemed very disorganized and communicated terribly. We would be told one thing only to learn it was something else 5 minutes later or in some cases much later. We were stuck waiting in the sun for well over an hour for our excursion possibly because we were late to the port and the scene was a chaotic mess of people waiting for 10+ different excursions. Overall I was greatly disappointed by my experience and will certainly not be sailing on Norwegian again and will be recommending my family and friends not to as well. 

We had an awesome time on our cruise. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Our steward was great, he went the extra mile to make sure our room  was perfect. The room was always stocked with clean towels, water for me to take my medicines. I loved all the towel animals and wedding cake that our steward left on our bed. J.C. Sanchez our cruise director sent chocolate covered strawberries and a nice bottle of wine to our room for our 32nd wedding anniversary. The food was great, my favorite place to eat was "TheCrossings"! Everyone made our cruise very special for us. The captain made sure we were safe and in no danger, Thank you to the crew on Norwegian Sky!  

What was my favorite part of the cruise??  Entering my house knowing I dont have to go back!!!

I have been cruising for the last 20 years, always on Royal Caribbean, but when I saw the special offer for NCL, I thought I would give a try. OMG, what a mistake!!

day 1. drinks watered, beer warm, dinner - 20minutes wait time for the soup, additional 45 minutes for the main course that never got there, cause we left the restaurant.

day 2. drinks are good. male employee leaving the restroom WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!!!! No food after 12.30 am. when I say no food, I mean you can not get any food, period. bars are closing at 1am . the only bar opened is the casino - thank you for smoking!

day 3. drinks watered. employees seem to be bothered when I order a drink. breakfast - cold , Walmart pancakes - are you serious?? 

At this point, I am actually losing weight. On a cruise!!!!! What???

day 4. drinks are a disaster, watered to the point of no alcohol. NOT joking! I am not a heavy drinker, but this was just a flavored water. Oh, Miami, you cant come soon enough.

Day 5. Disembarkation process - 1.50 minutes standing in a line. Single person gangway to get off the ship. Wow.  

My review would have negative starts if it was possible.

stay away from NCL! 

The entire cruise was an excellent journey. Crew was fantastic, enjoyed the shows, ship very clean and well maintained. Captain kept us safe and very well informed on the happenings of Hurricane Matthew. I would sail this ship again in a heartbeat.

Needed a short cruise and this one met our timing needs perfectly.  First, our private island stop was canceled due to renovations, and then we were diverted to Mexico due to Hurricane Matthew, but we made the best of it.  Food, excursions, service, and entertainment were all acceptable but nothing to write home about.  Ship was in excellent condition for her age, and Captain did a fabulous job of keeping us out of rough seas, which we appreciated more than we can express.  This is a great cruise if you have time and budget constraints and aren't terribly picky.  It met our goal of spending a few relaxing, worry-free days with friends.

Every part was my favorite part,I had so much fun and loved this all inclusive cruise.I will be back to sail again very soon!Loved the music loved the bar the food the pool and all of the staff!

My favourite part of the cruise was entertainment and the excursions. We had a great time. It was our first time having the unlimited drink package and that was a nice feature that we enjoyed alot. I was as little worried that there would be lots of heavy drinkers but fortunately it wasn't a problem.  The embarkation went extremely smooth. WE got on the ship very fast with no hiccups. However, the debarkation was total nightmare I have never been a part of something so unorganized. This was our first time on a freestyle cruise. We never saw our room attendant. She did an okay job at cleaning but it was odd. I have been on many cruises and normally at some point you meet the room steward. It was my sisters first cruise and I was sad that she didn't experience some of the things I normally take for granted. It was so freestyle that I think it is lacking some of the nicety of other cruisel ines. The room was a family outside room. I can't imagine how small a regular room is because this room was super tight for 3 adult women. 

This was a very fun and laid back cruise.  Having cruised often and with many other lines, we tried the "all inclusive" option of the Norwegian Sky and found it to be the easiest way to enjoy a vacation.  There was no worrying about our bar tab at the end of the trip and the waiters and bartenders were very accommodating. I would take this cruise again.

Overall we had a great time on the cruise. The staff on the boat were great. Some of the things I didn't really like were the pools are very small and salt water. The buffet food was very good but the sit down dinners we went to weren't very good. The shower in the room was very hard to get to a good temperature because the hot was very hot and it seemed whichever way you moved the handle it was extremely hot. It took about at least 3 minutes of playing with the handle to get it cool enough to shower. The music played by the pool was all hip hop. There were a lot of older couples on this cruise that would have liked to hear something else maybe some classic rock. I think they should switch it up and play all different kinds of music. We weren't very happy that one of our stops were cancelled and we had to spend the last day at sea but overall we had a lot of fun.

Our cruise was an enjoyable adventure. The unlimited drinks was a plus as my husband and I don't have any small kids and we were on vacation.. The free food was tasty and we splurged and got the specialty dining package which was worth it.. The food in Cagney's and in Le Bistro were very good.  The employees were very helpful and we changed our reservations each day in the dining room and they were very pleasant. We had a room with a balcony which I enjoyed because I like the ocean view.. We took in a show and enjoyed the white hot party.. The ship is very clean and housekeeping is there early every morning cleaning and even wiping down the walls. The only thing we did notice that people left drinks by the elevator and no one took them away the entire trip...

Cruise was great. Ship, even though older, was in great condition and clean. Layout was easy to follow, facilities in great places (no need to hunt for a restroom for example). The staff were great, excellent communication skills and language.

There was an issue with the shower drain, but that was fixed within hours after being notified. No other issues to report.

The excursion we did was bad, but that was a combination of unlucky weather and adjustments due to the weather.

We did not leave the ship in Nassau since we've already been there and didn't like it. Freeport City was similar for us, not a great place. They are both great for shopping, which isn't why we cruise. I don't fault the cruise for that as it was a known entity before sailing.

An older ship, but the staff is very attentive and polite.  This was our second time on this ship.  While my wife and I had a great time, I would not recommend as a family outing with younger children.  Having alcohol included in the price results in some passengers getting a wee bit tipsy which is not what I want my kids around.  Not an issue for me or my wife, but not appropriate for kids.  The food was generally a little bland.  The specialty restaurant Cagney's was exceptional!  (Not included, but worth it)

relaxing and food was good. The staff was great.  But rooms are very tight and the room had no ac controls and was very cold at most times.  The liquor, beer, and wine were generally of very good quality.

I would definitely recommend this cruiseline to my friends! Food, alcohol, entertainment, staff and the cruiseship were amazing! Had a great first time experience and I couldn't be happier that we chose norwegian sky. Definitely will book this cruiseline in the near future. 

I'll keep this short and to the point. Cruising is not what it used to be. My wife and I took our very first Cruise 25 years ago for out honeymoon. It was fabulous! Since theno we have cruised at least 20 additional times, several on Norwegian. Over the years, the cruising experience has diminished in terms of service and staff friendliness in general.

But before I complain, let me first provide some compliments. We were really impressed with our room steward because he made it  point to call my wife, my son, and me by name. He made it personal, like the old days. Second, the assistant Cruise director and entertainment guy (Yahshua, I believe) was personable. Lastly, kudos on the all inclusive. I know it's a trial period but it's a differentiator. However, from a business perspective it must be challenging to be profitable with that model. So I assume cost has to be cut somewhere. 

Now to my complaint and biggest disappointment (and no, it's not because I donated $500 to the casino. That was planned!), my wife and I celebrated our 25 anniversary and no one acknowledged it any way. I made it known when I booked the cruise and when I checked. That'said quite disappointing! Obviously, we had other options but we chose Noweigian Cruise Lines to celebrate such a milestone. Lesson learned.

My last complaint is about one of the casino workers. I believe her name is Ashcraft  (light skin, shoulder length hair). She was extremely rude - just a bad personality who should not be customer facing without much more customer experience training. But in spite of her bad attitude, I still chose to play at the casino all 4 nights. The guys were really good, especially Vijay.

I see that I didn't keep it short but really my complaint is about not receiving any type of acknowledgement of our 25th anniversary, even though you were informed AND we are past guests.
