Review summary

The cruise has nice dining rooms which are often quiet as many passengers are at the buffet. The staff is unfailingly polite and efficient. Entertainment is excellent.

Big negative is the smoking in the casino and outside on deck. Could not go anywhere near casino with asthma. Seems unnecessary in today's health oriented climate.

Very clean. Lots of noise from pool deck above

Ship tip

Just accept it is a short cruise on an older ship and enjoy. Lots of fun!

Unfortunately for those of us with sick lungs, the majority of the casino's revenue comes from smokers. Several ships tried to make them smoke-free, and they lost way too much money. So they were pretty much forced to allow smoking. It's too bad they couldn't put a divider wall down the middle and make one half smoke-free! I can't use the casinos either unless I wear a mask, but then people look at me with disgust like I'm going to give them the Bubonic Plague or something. It's ok, it saves me money by not going in there, and allows me more time to spend on deck in the fresh sea air!
