Review summary

Love the partying before the ship leaves out, next time you'll should allow people to bring there own bags to the room. I had to wait around for 2 hours when i could of been in the pool if I had my bag with me

I've always checked my bags and never had any issue. Been on the Sky a few times. Bring a backpack onboard with a change of clothes or swim suit.

After seeing so many opportunities for my bags to be left in unsecured places this past year I bought smaller bags and have vowed to keep them within my sight. I am not a well to do person and cannot afford to have my bags stollen or pilfered through and lose items due to carelessness from any cruise lines or airlines. My point is security of passengers are high, whereas not for our belongings.

The Sky will check carry-on in Captain Cook's Bar, deck 6, right after passing the Mark Twain Library/Photo Gallery. The crew move the tables to make room for the luggage. The first time on Sky we let the cruise-line handle our luggage. After viewing our luggage unattended by elevators on 8th floor, we then decided to carried them to our room. The 2nd time on Sky we carried our luggage onto ship.

I read too on CC that they have a spot where you can 'check' your carry on until your stateroom is ready! A nice hidden perk the sky has so you aren't carrying it around, bumping into ppl with it, etc

I always wear my bathing suit onto the ship. You don't want to lug all of your luggage around with you while you wait for your room to be ready.

People have been told too take carry on bags with your pool gear on with you lot quicker and more fun same with meds .just a learning curve for next time hope you enjoy your trip after all that .
