I did like the fact that the didn't hound you to purchase pictures. There were several times we met a photographer who wanted to take our pic with some character or other, but we always declined and they were always respectful of that.

We went to the restaurant on embarkation day for lunch as the buffet is usually very crowded and most people don't realize the restaurant is open.

We had a mid-ship cabin with a large window (5th level) that met all of our needs. This position gave us a comfortable ride and close access to everything. Certainly upgrade as you wish, but even the lesser berths are great.

Don't pay for onboard credits up front. Just let them charge your account and pay-up at check out. Unused onboard credits are not refunded, and are lost if you leave with a balance

If cruising from Texas, beware of the state imposed duty of more than $3 per bottle of wine and spirits.

Water is almost $3 per bottle on the ship. I appreciated the honey being available for tea or coffee. Being allowed to order more than one appetizer per person was wonderful. There is a lengthy check-in process with a very long wait in coiling lines at the dock.

If you enjoy drinking make sure you explore and try different bars and drinks every night, that's what we did and we're able to judge which bar and bartender to come back to. If you have specialty dining make sure you're hungry before going because it was worth it!

The food was good in The Garden Cafe, but it was so noisy and crowded it was difficult to have a conversation at the table if you could find one.
