Review summary

Our connecting flight to get to Houston departure port took off without us as gate attendant provided inaccurate information.  We drove 4 1/2 hours to arrive in Houston at an extra cost of $200.  We truly enjoyed our Balcony cabin.  Our room was beautifully cleaned throughout our stay.  We found the smoke from the Casino to be overpowering on some days even on the top level of the ship.  My husband was quarantined for 24 hours having reported one symptom, as requested by the medical staff so we missed our excursion, however, the cruise staff returned the excursion payment.  We truly enjoyed the excursion to the private island with the animal sanctuary.  Awesome baby crocodile, iguanas and kapuching monkeys!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Service or attention level was significantly lower in Azura Restaurant than in Tzars Dining Room

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There is a fee for Bingo and other activities.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Computer system for arranging transfers was not all-encompassing.

Ship Quality

Smoke smell was over-whelming from the casino even on the 12th level.

Cabin / Stateroom

Santiago did a fabulous job.

Ship tip

Water is almost $3 per bottle on the ship. I appreciated the honey being available for tea or coffee. Being allowed to order more than one appetizer per person was wonderful. There is a lengthy check-in process with a very long wait in coiling lines at the dock.
