Review summary

We chose NCL because we wanted a step up from Carnival. We were sadly disappointed. The food was underwhelming. Unless you buy a soda card it is impossible to get anything to drink unless you make it yourself in your stateroom. They shut down the "free beverages" when the buffet closed. I got food poisoning at the only place to get any food late at night. Missed an entire port day because of this. While sitting out on my balcony on my stuck in my cabin day workers on the next balcony started using equipment that shot sparks into my hair. LOVELY. I was just pissed off for most of my cruise and had a terrible time. I would not send my worst enemy on an  NCL cruise. Carnival is a lot more people friendly and the food is so much better.
