Getaway is an excellent ship; not too small and not too big.

Make arrangements for entertainment early and enjoy the specialty restaurants. They are great !

DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THAT TOP LEVEL SUITES SHOULD NOT BE SADDLED WITH THE SAME PETTY CHARGES THAT YOU CHARGED TO THE LOWER LEVEL CABINS. PAYING $25,000 PLUS FOR CABIN AND TOLD YOU MUST PAY FOR WATER IN RESTAURANTS AND MINIMAL INTERNET PACKAGE FOR ONE USER AND DEVICE IS A COMPLETE TURNOFF. NORWEIGAN SHOULD LOOK AT ROYAL CARRIBEAN GENIE SERVICES FOR THEIR TOP SUITES. MAKES YOU FEEL YOUR APPRECIATED AND FITTING FOR PRICE YOUR PAYING.

Know you have to reserve the most popular entertainment or wait in a standby line to attend.. The 678 Waterfront is a great new feature to cruising.. If you've not experienced the smaller NCL ships you will see nothing negative about this ship. Some of us prefer the smaller / less crowded ships The added attractions (ropes course water slides etc.) are great for the young (and young at heart). for a great thrill "walk the plank"

We booked a spa balcony and when we got onboard, the spa was selling thermal spa passes to arriving guests for $246. The guests, who bought onboard, were given salt scrubs with their spa pass purchases. We were told we could not get the scrubs because we booked a spa balcony. We could have booked a regular balcony for much less than the spa balcony and simply purchased the pass to the spa once onboard. Yes we would have needed to go to the spa to book the pass but the price difference in the room should have allowed us to receive all benefits given to any other guest with similar amenities. The only thing we got was one small bottle of each, Bulgari shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. These were never replenished during the week. I was also told that anyone purchasing the spa pass online prior to the cruise was not eligible for the salt scrubs only persons booking onboard or a spa suite.

Get the specialty dining along with the beverage package and bring lots of sunscreen

Buy the dining package if you like food. Buy the drink package if you like drinks. If you want to get off the ship quickly, use the self assist debarkation. You have to carry you own luggage, but we were off the ship and through customs by 8:10AM (7AM docking)

Book entertainment early. Most good shows fill up early.

Make all your dining and entertainment reservations ASAP--or, better yet, book a smaller ship.

Don't miss the Cirque Dreams dinner show. It is a MUST!!

Take advantage of the outdoor quiet areas on Deck 8. We don’t like the loud atmosphere of the late parties, but relaxing on a sofa while watching the water is perfect.

Try the different dining options

Sail now...before the pandemic ends as the ship was pretty empty...no lines or waiting

We work hard to save money to come to our European trip. Your shore excursion team were very unorganized. I had a terrible experience with my excursion on this trip. First before we embark the itinerary changed on us and Istanbul got short and our two excursion turn to one. Then we arrived to Mykonos they said the water was choppy and they could not stop on Mykonos and our whole excitement of visiting Mykonos turn to disappointment an hour before we reached to Mykonos. Our 9 day cruise with zero at sea turn into two days at sea.
