Pre-register as much of the activities, dining and entertainment as you can, they fill fast.
The Vibe is ok (from what I saw I didn't get in) but Spice H2O is great for port days and only crowded on sea days. But even at that not bad. It's good for the adults without kids to just relax and get some sun and a drink without a large crowd. I will say only the first, last boarding, and emergency drill were the only times I felt there was a crowd. It's amazing that around 5100 people (crew/cruisers) are on board. You would think there was a few hundred with so much open space and few lines.

We personally will not be sailing with NCL. Not a fan of free style sailing at all. We prefer the timed seating and formal nights. It was very hard to schedule/reschedule dinner reservations.

We loved being on deck 13 toward the aft. We could quickly get to the stairs and go up two decks to grab coffee in the morning or a snack at night. It was quiet with no public venues above or below us.

Don't be afraid to explore the ship! Read your daily activities memo placed in your room each evening. It gives great tips for things to do the following day. Especially useful for on dining alternatives, including breakfast buffets options.

Definitely get the onboard texting/calling service. It is only $14.99 and well worth the money. Such an easy was to keep in touch with the people you are cruising with.

Make sure you dont miss the entertainment.......even the "silly" gameshows" made me laugh ane were entertaining. Really put us in vacation mode!!

I would spend the $13.99 or $14.99 on the ship Concierge data so you can text back and forth to your group. Sometimes it is a little slow but it's better than nothing.

Get the 'drink package' if you drink. Reserve show times as soon as you can. Get to the pool area early on ocean days. The fitness area is usually clear by mid-morning. Purchase a bus/airport transportation ticket for only $16 which makes getting to the Miami Airport easy.

On NCL lines you have to put your room key in the slot next to your door in your room for your lights/tv to work. It's a nice way for them to save on electricity, but if you don't know it you may think there's a problem in the room.
